कोलकाता के आरजी कर मेडिकल कॉलेज और अस्पताल में 9 अगस्त को ट्रेनी डॉक्टर के साथ हुए रेप-मर्डर केस में सोमवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई। CJI डीवाई चंद्रचूड़, जस्टिस जेबी पारदीवाला और मनोज मिश्रा की बेंच ने तीन मुद्दों - CBI जांच रिपोर्ट, डॉक्टरों की हड़ताल और CISF जवानों की सुविधाओं पर सुनवाई की।
A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Monday in the rape-murder case of a trainee doctor that took place on August 9 at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The bench of CJI DY Chandrachud, Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra heard three issues - CBI investigation report, doctors' strike and facilities for CISF jawans.

The Supreme Court should ensure security of Doctors. A petty judicial officials or bureaucratic officials are provided with adequate security, but doctors - the best Brians in the milieu- are left on themselves to defend. Junior doctor should be placed as equivalent to SDM and senior doctors to DM and provided with all the facilities , being provided to these officials , including security.
The SC should not simply put pressure on doctors - who are unprotected and are made to work even without proper equipments and appratuses
