@@crunchback2779 oh for sure, I feel like a very average player to be sure, but I know enough that how you position and how big your knowledge is of the nations plus the vehicles being used against you is huge. Knowledge indeed does pay off in this game

A-6E is so underrated, probably because it looks goofy and is overshadowed by A-10. Insane battle presence, and super relaxing to play too. I think you should make more videos on it. Though I think there is a bug with the laser targeting system and holding locks currently.
Yeah switching between camera views might remove the lock LoL.
@@Hunter_i86 Is this only with the TRAM targeting system? Or are other laser targeting systems affected too?
@@Boris_The_Turtle it happened with Mirage and Tornado when I was playing ground sim battles the other day, I have to stay on TGP sight to make sure the lock will not break.

the title is wrong the f16 is called "the fighting falcon" the viper is called to f16 Charlie variant and we currently dont have it in game 🤓☝️

Hey hunter, for AGM-65s how does the locking mechanism work? I see you fire pretty far out sometimes on targets, but at least for me i wait till it starts tracking, but against SPAA and stuff I see you shoot it from extremely far out, does it still lock on regardless? I was hoping you could share some insight, cause the targeting and tracking on it was always wonky for me
Hello, I will talk generally, not only about this video. I lock the ground from far and assume that SPAA will stay static because he will be busy guiding his missile, so he will stay at his position for at least 4 seconds, now there is a thing you must know that lock range differs from one Maverick to another, Mav A vehicle capture range is about 3km, Mav B around 6km and Mav D is about 11km. Also sizes of targets matter, for example Mav B will capture a Wiesel at maybe 2.5km but it might capture a FlaRakRad or Pantsir S1 at 8km, the bigger the target the better for the Maverick to lock.

Me mainly bomb bases which is easy. Grinded with F5C from p47 to A7D in like 50 Games.
i dont know why but i cant set the target point in the f-16 so i have only used the f-14b, the targeting pod is so much better than tv default sight
Also lack of variable zoom. Pretty soon we'll have the f16C which has a pretty good targeting pod

4:24 how do you unlock like that I have it bound and it unlocks and then a second later locks back to where it was again?
It is a bug after Sons of Attila, try pressing it twice fast to cancel lock, or change weapon.
how do u lock anything with GBU?? it always lock ground next to the vehicle for me

You need to be at 3km from the target if you want the track lock.
use gbu 8 to kill tanks from 3km👍

Mavericks driving me crazy I launched 3 of them at S1 all of them gave hit only, I stopped using them
I recommend stop using them now, wait for the new major update. I heard they are working on all Mavericks warheads.

Hello, you need to resist that with pitch up\down buttons consistently with SAS damping or elevator trimming with SAS manual.
Is the M3A3 still viable at top tier? I haven't really even tried top tier since the Pantsir happened, but maybe it's less dominating now?
Pantsir isn’t as bad now, with mavericks fixed as well as the amount of f14b and mirages in the air they have been suppressed pretty well
Yeah, I use it to camp, snipe and scout in wonderful maps like Maginot Line :)

Why LoL, NATO don't have OP SPAA.
When I play the F5E with mavericks the thermal camera is always zoomed in so much that It makes it hard to actually move it around and spot enemies. Is there a zoom setting for it? I saw Hunter zoom in and out in his F5E video, I think. Also in this video he can see a lot of battlefield even tho he's pretty close.
Edit: Also what are the key binds to cancel lock on target? When I lock on a target I have to either shoot out the missile or turn around for lock to cancel. Thanks.
There is no zoom in\out for Mav B

Have you used the Japanese AH-1E? I dont remember it having CCIP early on, but I could just be blind. Doing rocket runs in it is fun because it doesnt constantly get sucked up into 10.7, faces a bit less ERA, and also has a bit different nation matching.

It's called "Activate target point"
Or "sight stab" button
how do you know when to drop the gbu?
After La Royale update you don't need to guess anymore, you have CCIP bomb sight and CCRP vertical line .. they tell you when to drop :)

@@midnightdanger5509 A little bit before it, you don't want your GBU-8 to overshoot .. and you can drop the bomb before even the marker starts moving if you were flying very fast.
@@Hunter_i86 i use walleyes on my a4e and sometimes it doesnt track at all, i lock on and it goes to the square that the ccrp or what ever its called is, but usually tracks, im pretty new to smart bombs tho

why didn't you use AGS, hunter? Isn't it better than bradley?
My guess would be the Bradley's differences to the Abrams and AGS - it's got top-down missiles and an autocannon which make it able to fight in situations where the AGS or Abrams may struggle (they have advantages the bradley doesn't ofc but that's the point of a lineup imo)
The Bradley also has far better optics than the AGS meaning it can perform the scout role better despite its larger size and worse mobility
Top down missile and I keep the Bradley for beautiful maps like Maginot Line :)

Honestly. This map is not for top tier. Only 1 spawn base, very easy for aircraft to find the enemy's Spaa.

I hate how mavericks are modeled in this game. These things are basically the size of a small car....yet it just shows a little jet of copper piercing a tank and not killing it lol... I mean in reality...it doesn't matter where this maverick hits your tank....your tank is being absolutely destroyed.
