Alright, let's cut to the chase, I know a lot of people, me included, were PROBABLY unsatisfied with the ending to Mario's Madness, with how Pico showed up for one song, and that's it. He never showed up for the final battle against Ultra M.
So, what I did here was add Pico to All Stars, but I actually put effort into this and had him sing parts where Boyfriend/Girlfriend would normally sing. On top of that, he does his own singing while BF and GX face off in Act 3. I also voiced acted Ultra M for Act 4's beginning to fit with Pico's inclusion.
I, however, am actually a bit unsatisfied with this cover. Don't get me wrong, it came out exactly how I wanted it. But I felt like I could've done more. And there's also a few parts where the vocal effects don't match because I had to use an FLP for Pico's vocals and the actual vocal track for the main singing.
So, in the future, eventually, I'll remix the vocal track to make Pico feel more included, so it'd feel more Pico Mix-like, and like a final battle with the Funkin' Trio against Ultra M.
I still really like how it came out, so I want to see if someone would make it a playable cover, so here's the separated vocals track -

I accidentally deleted a comment about an All Stars Remix with an "Act 5" where Pico has to fend against everything thrown at him in an attempt save BF & GF or escape M's world.
TBH, I WOULD make an Act 5, but I am nowhere that good of a composer to make one.

Could be a group project though I do have a recommendation for you or anyone doing a good ending. Mini rant/proposal ahead!
While pico is the loose plot thread (for whatever reason) I don’t think giving him all the attention is a good thing. You have to think about what led up to this. Pico had one song that mostly showed him running away from a single opponent. That’s not to knock pico down by the way L is no joke even with Mario assisting. If I had the skill and resources I’d do a full remix leading up to act 5 including a cutscene of someone discovering the tv in the middle of the song maybe between acts. Then when you reach act 5 have boyfriend dodge the last attack with pico coming in for an assist. Make sure to show ultra m’s frustration whether through an aggregated yell (maybe sourced from earlier songs) or a change in the song. Then when theirs a slow moment suggesting a double fake out (don’t recommend that it’ll worsen the betrayal feeling) have daddy dearest come in with all three defeating ultra m. Not escaping defeating. Have gf come in if it works for the song heck throw Mario’s spirit in maybe. But, the focus needs to be on the big 3 of fnf. The final boss, the protagonist, and the rival all working together. One of Mario’s madness regular ending flaws is that it ties into actual fnf lore leaving way too many questions. That plus other inconsistencies make a bad ending like this not work in the context of the mod. If you’re doing a good ending you have to go all in on the feeling of triumph and beating the odds. That’s what the mod was building up so you have to capitalize on it. Make it feel like the true ending not just an extended remix. If this story ties into daddy dearest then bring him in let that connection pay off. Let the why do you still try line be the thing that gives boyfriend the win assist or no assist. I don’t know song but I do know stories and I know anyone listening to that song who played the mod is gonna be thinking of that story.

Even though this part is kind of funny, I like to think of it as if he was encouraging himself. You know, so he doesn't lose his composure and believe that he can still survive with Boyfriend.

The truth is that I feel that giving Pico a single song so that he never appears again is a mistake, they should have made him somehow reunite with gf and bf thus giving a more epic ending to All Stars, they were not going to beat Mario but at least he supported BF in his last moments
I agree, specially when you include him in the ending screen. Should have done more with him
Maybe in the next update they could return him with some of the scrapped characters (FNAW mario, dorkly mario, ink Bowser. Exe and etc)
I feel like they have plans for him in the next update, he did enter the cartridge after all and we don’t see him dying.

Honestly, I feel like the reason Pico doesn't show up in All Stars is because he can't freely travel between the worlds like BF and GF can. He started out alone and couldn't get to anyone, trapped in Mr. L's world.

I think Pico in a v3/week 2 of the mod might BACKTRACK to Horror/Ultra M.

this makes me this of a different ending, if you fc overdue once you get back to the map menu, a warp whistle noise plays as a text appears saying "A NEW PLAYER HAS JOINED THE GAME." , When you play All stars, it plays the true ending variant.

that’s basically the idea for a custom song I want to make lol. Ultra M thinks he’s won and stuff, insert the credits sequence, then all of a sudden the “continues used:” box from NSMB Wii pops up and revives both of them. M feels a weird sense of relief at this, but the Friends completely SNAP and go on a rampage throughout the mod to pummel every foe they’ve had to deal with to a bloody pulp.

love how you used Pico's atonals to stay with how the mod did instead of lazily tuning him, this is a genuine top tier mix!
I really like the inclusion of Pico in this mod, he is an unusual character to see as a co-protagonist and the fact that he escapes from Mr.L means that there will be a continuation (I would like to 😢)
@mustfa-Gamestarted Maybe he will stay to fight, since he can still save bf and gf (I don't know if the images in the credits could be considered canon but if they are, this theory has a better basis) since they only did game over then following the mechanics of Mario games would only reappear at the beginning with 3 lives, so they could face M again and possibly beat him with the help of pico

also the song is good with pico in it but i feel we need one more act we him alone against M, like M kill bf and gf and pico tired of this use him experience battle against weird monsters to face M to defeat him once for all (yet the other two probably still dead).
It would be amazing if there was an act 5 and M could use the souls (voices) of BF and GF to battle Pico could lead to an ending with him dying or him leaving the game.
BF would've joined girlfriend and Pico would fight against Ultra M in Act 4.

I get the feeling if there was an Act 5 or a mini update to this on V2.1. it be can be Pico running to get to the exit quickly and he managed to escape but knowing that Boyfriend and Girlfriend have become puppets to Ultra Mario. But for Ultra Mario, still not feeling the revenge he has gotten now that he’s all alone without any victims to hunt down at all. Still in his emptiness hell.
Now Sonic.Exe isn’t a big threat now, Mario.Exe is a bigger threat than Sonic.Exe
u incorporated pico into this rly well! it doesnt feel like he was just slapped on just because. hes an active member of the squad, fighting as hard as everyone else. it also makes the ending illustration w/ bf & gf looking helpless while picos just like "dude... what the fuck..." make more sense and hit harder. like yea he got away from mr. l but how the hell did he reunite w/ bf & gf? sure mayb he found them too late but that doesnt quite add up to me. redoing the little speech leading into act 4 to have m address both bf & pico is a nice touch. on a musical level, picos parts just sound great. u didnt have him just imitate what bf & gf were singing the whole time, u gave him smth else to sing and only had him sing along when it mattered most and im a big fan of that! how good ur decision to do that was rly shows in act 3. rly good execution there in particular. plus im just a sucker for atonal pico. i feel like ppl would normally just shit a cover w/ a concept like this that has a lot of potential out but u did it justice! good shit all around!

While 3 months late, I'd love to add my own take on Act 3, as Pico's vocals to me seem like a last ditch effort to try and cheer BF out of his agony, he's repeating his same vocals from when he was the opponent.

This is where V2 needs to have a hotfix. The creator is planing on that but it’s not a V3 so expect a V2.5 soon. Anyways I wish I could make an FNF mod that is after Mario madness called “Mario midnight / Mario madness: Season 2” since their is more Mario.exes now. They will include Pico’s revenge, Pico meets suicide mouse because suicide mouse winded up in the tv of his own, Mario entertainment system, Pico and Mouse vs MX (In the middle of the song, Pico faints and suicide mouse takes his place and after the song, Pico and mouse decided to work together and get out with bf and gf), And many more Mario.EXEs! I can’t make fnf mods so someone gotta do it for me.
From 7:08 to the end of the song you really cooked with Pico. If you do decide to do an act V please allow me to help you. I honestly want a Mario Madness V3 called Beyond Madness.

One thing I’ll love about Act 4 is how in 6:16 as Ultra M sings against BF it sounds normal but in 6:22 when Pico steps in, Ultra M sounds extra pissed off at Pico, whether this is a glitch or not I like this part

Pico fell into the pit after dodging M's attack in act 4, unfortunately BF dies, and he is never to be seen again.
Honestly if the team were to ever do this and make a short dlc for the mod where you played as pico where hes escaped cause I assume he'd have five lives like the other two and therefore have to face off more mario creepypastas or bootlegs/memes cause going into this mod I had kinda hoped for an SMG4 or a mario and the music box song.
Pico’s vocals should either be
A: Free style
B: Used in a where he can actually copy his opponent’s vocals, so basically no long notes.
So basically it’s half good and bad

Honestly, bf dying just makes it better for me. It makes this SO much more emotional for some reason. We're all hoping that, again, BF would win and save everything, but no. He's just a random dude who raps, and his girlfriend it's a powerful Demon was the one who could save'em in that situation, but she was dead.
