I have some hopes that the Protag will have more customization options, like changing hair color and outfits. I say that, since you could see him wearing casual clothes at the part where the girl with the burger gets caught cuz of camera flash, so at least a change of clothes might be possible.
If you scan the title card a bit it looks like you can play a female MC too. I don't recall seeing her in the trailer and she has the same get-up the dude MC was sporting.

I think they just updated the MC model from the first trailer.

But you can play with the girl as well.
MC might be plain, but he has many outfits.
