I got in touch with Mike because he was on tour. We rarely cross paths, but I still consider Mike as a brother.The video was taken on my phone. I got a text asking if I was gonna be at the show and realized that I should have already been there. I called my bodyguards and asked them to take me to Tulsa, an hour and a half away that only took about 45 minutes. We still missed Mike's set. Mike played Fishgutt's belly bustin stand-up bass with Call Me Bronco which was cool. I asked Mike if he would play my favorite song from the new record. I know I sound like a fanboy now, but fuck you! Mike was cool enough to get his banjo and walk down the street with me for a song that he had already played.Cool cat in my book.
