    Good call. The deer out there are EVERYWHERE. Hell of a run so far. Glad you're good. You'll enjoy the rest of the ride in the sunlight anyhow.
    And wait until you see "Lookout pass" on I90 heading West. Montana/Idaho border, but heading down slope. Effing amazing. I'm jealous right now....

    I've done a couple of 600 mile days. Like you, both were under adverse conditions. Knowing when to stop and "live to ride another day" is a crucial skill in motorcycling.

    A patch is not worth your skin or bike parts. I've done some long days, sometimes long miles, sometimes just long hours. Either way, it's better to wake up in the morning having rested and ready to go again, than in a bed with a nurse next to you monitoring your life signs. Ride for the pleasure of riding, not for braggin rights.
