I had a pumpkin seed once we used to feed him goldfish to but then one of the fish got big and we just started feeding them regular fish food cichlid food does good. Watch out ours jumped out about 11 times we had to but a board to cover the holes he lived 5 years in there.
@thelochness2000 Pretty much all perciform fish are carnivores, and fish flakes are mostly made of fish meal or ground up fish. My green sunfish always ate them when he was little.
@deerhunt55point i through some minnows in 2 hours after putting the crappie in my tank and they ate. crappie are differnt. I have 7 crappie in my pond and only one of them will eat worms. good luck man!
Wipeter 850 I to live in AZ your best chance is spring time at rosavelt lake.go at night with a crappie light some fishing poles a pack of slip bobbers gamkatsu hooks minnows and a thrownet that is your best shot better practice with that thrownet first
No ones going to care that you have game fish in your house unless they really hate you and report you to DNR. If you're a kid its legal. Don't worry about it.

change ure gravel and give it some cover... its not a goldfish.
the fish is going to die he has no cover and u over stocked the tank with minnows. i really feel bad for the fish
