Juanette flip flop journals are so much fun to make. I think making them out of file folders make them a little more sturdy than envelopes. TFS🌴💕
Thank you so much Annette. I did make one flip-flop journal one time out of envelopes and it was very confusing to me.
Hello sweet Juanette, happy to hear you! Love your tutorial on a flip flop journal, wonderful! Thank you, please take care & give sweet Fiona a big hug! Have a wonderful day!🤗💜🌻💕🐶
Thank you so much Diana. Our sweet little Miss Fiona went to the groomer today and got a nice little haircut. Have you ever made a flip-flop journal?
@@JuanettesCraftingCorner I’m in the process of,but I keep getting distracted,lol!💜🌻💕🐶
Juanette I love how you used the file folders and the stamping that you used to decorate them.
Thank you so much Natalie. The file folders gave it some nice strength.
Great tutorial! I love this idea. You are coming up on my feed more and I am enjoying seeing your channel more.
Thank you so much Kathy. I always do two videos a week. One on Monday and one on Thursday. I'm so glad that you are enjoying my channel. I appreciate it.
i love this base and immediately gathered every thing to make it. i was totally lost less than a minute into the video. lol going to sleep on it and try again in the morning. :)~
If you can't figure it out let me know and I will do a quick video to show you how to do it. At least you gave it a try.
Hi Juanette...Thank you for showing us how to make a flip flop journal with file folders...you were so clear on what to do and great tips as you went along. I am loving this tutorial..and looking forward to next Monday! Something that I noticed that when tightening the threads to sew in signatures, if I pull the threads up and down instead of side to side, it works a lot better. I noticed that you started pulling them a little more up and down at the end and definitely when you made the knot which is why is tightened at the end. Can't wait to see you on Monday...Kim
Thank you so much Kim. I'm definitely going to try your tip on pulling the threads up and down instead of side to side. I love how we all teach each other different things.
Hi Juanette!! Great tips on making a flip flop journal. You explain things so good, easy to follow!! Hitting the road on Wednesday heading to Montana. 💜
Have a safe trip to Montana Carol. It's too bad we are going to be so far apart and won't be able to meet up at least for lunch.
Such an attractive journal you have begun. Your cover with the coffee and stamps is fire. I love it. I feel that I am always finagling and fiddling. Glad to know I am in good company. The clip tip is especially helpful.
Thank you so much Steph. I didn't figure out the clip tip until halfway through of sewing in all the signatures. Ha ha
A suggestion: while binding, I use a bit of tape to hold my thread end in place. I like to watch many journal tutorials...each has a different idea on a theme. I am inspired (my first journal was a full book cover, 5 signature, travel themed masterpiece!!) Haha I love thus one.
Thank you so much for the tip using tape to hold the thread end in place. Now why didn't I think of that? Ha ha 🥰 Your travel journal sounds wonderful.
As I was listening to you, I was thinking to myself, “is that an accordion journal?” Right away, you answered me :-)
I think they call it a flip flop journal more than an accordion journal.
I just found your channel and I am so glad and excited to watch many videos!❤
Thank you so much Annette. I'm so glad you found my channel. I hope I can teach you some things and inspire you.
What wonderful journal this will be. 💕🥰💕
Thanks Mitzie.
What a great tutorial these videos are going to be. Thanks so much. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Ann. Big hugs to you!
I love this you wonderful lady! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Pam. If I hold a retreat in Arizona would you be able to travel here? I bet it would only be about an hour to an hour and a half flight. I would love to meet and craft with you.
@@JuanettesCraftingCorner yes possible. Let me know when you are planning it.
@@PandorasJunkJournals you will be one of the first people I let know of the dates. I was thinking sometime toward the end of October or the beginning of November when it's cooler here.
