Columbia is still looking good. Fortunately both of the Columbia Carousel’s are still operating. With SFGAm still in a full Carousel Plaza with the railroad berm separating the plaza from Howntown Square. California’s Great America lost that division back in the Paramount days. Now for those new SFGAm and its early days under Marriott, I encourage you to search on TH-cam for Great America’s 2 theme songs. One is main theme and there’s a video with lyrics so you can sing along to its 1976 corniness. The other, which is still heard in the park, is the Carousel Song. And, while you are at it, look for music for The Demon. All good stuff, that we in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas grew up with and enjoyed.
