I wish she’d rewrite/re-record this album with the No Doubt crew and just release it as an ND record. I hear the potential, but modern producers make everything sound commercialized
I 100% agree! If she didn’t want it released as a solo record it should have just been with ND. Would have probably even sounded better than the songs already do sound. Also we all know that’s what the REAL fans want anyways haha Also one of her unreleased solo tracks “Sparkle” became a No Doubt song for their 2012 record and it was the best song on it imo. Here’s to hoping something happens with these songs!
While I like all the songs, I can kinda see why she lost interest in it. It's all very samey and like a repetition of what she has done many times before.
She had enough songs done to put out an album tho. It’s a shame she’d just scrap it entirely instead of at the very least putting out the good songs as singles. None of her solo music leans this much into reggae so as a whole I think it would’ve been a nice addition to her discography, even if none of the songs were anything revolutionary.
@@flochjanI think it was decent for 2018, 2019, when marshmello was hitting with friends and happier. But for 2024 I dont know, even though I like it, its super catchy.
I dont think these songs are samey and that entire album is quite good actually.. she could still release it for the fans as a b-side album or something like this
I wish this album had been released, I have loved everything I have heard so far. I'm so glad we have an opportunity to listen to some it now...
Gwen going back to her roots...young Gwen w No Doubt was such a badd ass...

@@Mr-tu4cj I agree. "I'm so sick" should have been a single. I think it could have been a decent radio hit.
