Mothership need to be absolute TITAN with multiple multi-layered shields, tons of AAA turrets, thick armor and numerous redundant engines (1 live). Fighters attacking and defending Mothership have infinite repair but time out of 10 seconds before (respawn). Goal of attackers destroy or immobilize or disarm Mothership. Defenders have to keep Mothership armed, moving and not destroyed (Mothership will have hiiden TNT blocks inside so EMP could trigger it randomly) until it reach designated planet or just waypoint set by challenge. After round end teams switch and have to escort own Mothership to own designated point while Defenders become attackers. Team that manage to destroy or escort most Motherships wins.
I'm looking forward to seeing the affects of the EMP for an aerial battle. Also is it possible to have multiple shields covering the same area, so you have multiple layers of protection.
I was thinking that as well, if you could, that would make larger ships more viable, as you would have stronger shields. In other words, Imma make a capital ship at some point with extremely powerful shielding.
You know, a space battleship fight would be interesting- everyone has massive tanky ships with a large blob of dynamite buried deep inside the ship. Each ship would be allowed to have 100+ power cores so people have to either prioritize speed or firepower. Also, I wonder if stacking one shield inside another would protect the inner shield. Regardless, I can’t wait for the update’s release
It’s crazy how similarly matched you all were with a similar power cores, I think this space dlc will be like that, as it’s not really about lift and thrust anymore, so the skills in planes don’t matter as much!
Once you guys get properly comfortable with the space controls, you have got to do a dogfight like this amidst the SS Bork wreckage. Probably with multiple lives due to how likely maneuver kills will be in there.

the thing about the large engine that take along time to ramp up, in my opinion i feel like they would be best as a booster and have the smaller ones as the main propulsion since drag isnt an aspect and essentially every engine has an unlimited top speed getting up to speed faster is a better option. the smaller engines are also a lot better for using reverse thrust which is a must have in space. the quantum rudders dont act like regular tails, if up turn/pitch them on a steering hinge they dont turn like they would in regular atmosphere they always try to face flat so your draft would end up just being angled but still going straight. the strength slider changes how fast your pitch but also increases there amount of drag, strength=drag so if you want a faster draft you can always turn the strength of them down and use the smaller engines
So my theory was correct, the sheilds block all AOE and EMP damage, so this means the my comment on the last vid was right, making the shields small pays off. 😁 BTW, this feels like an actual Star Wars battle, once the shields are gone, your dead. I wonder, if someone makes a tie fighter, if they won’t include shields like in the movies. 🤔
Nice vid, love the new update. But in my opinion, weight (mass) matters alot in space. The heavier you are, the more energy you need to accel/decelerate. Plus, the harder it will make turning in space bc of the extra momentum you now have cuz of the weight. You should put the all of the engines on hinges making space '5th gen fighters'. And try putting two space rudders on hinges with opposite angles, I think it may act as a 'space brake'.

Like naval combat, but in space, with ships designed for two people to operate And you can try doing a fun thing, when you take too much damage - the ship basically "sheds" the hull and splits into two small fighter ships, as a last ditch attempt to clutch the round :v

ScrapMan's black and red build in the intro is from his second TrailMakers Space video, and his wings are basically just weapon mounts.
I'd love to see a rematch of this battle with these builds... but with maximum blasters like ScrapMan's original build for all four instead of EMPs. After the first round in this video, I'm just curious as to how big a difference the blasters vs EMPs would be in the other builds, especially considering how close the score was at the end.
Day 1 of asking Yzuei to make a TieFighter, with the new space thrusters and stuff a Tiefighter would be awesome, you could even make the sounds with sound makers and make the laser green! Hope You see this
Could you please make a zero powercore sailing ship battle with actual sailing techniques so you can basically sail against the wind (you don’t actually sail against the wind just in a very steep angle) would be awesome
Yooo Yzuei im pretty sure that if you use a altitude block to activate the booster and set it to like 999999 altitude, you can just set a button to turn that logic block on and off and it will instantly be at full power rather than a build up
Day 10 of asking for an Torpedo bombers vs Shark on high seas. The bombers can only use on Large prop and have 2 torpedos that they can only be dropped below an set altitude. The shark can only use melee attacks and armor plates don’t count to the block limit. The controls get split like one player has pitch and yaw control and the other player has roll and bite/etc. controls.(sry if my English is bad I’m german)
I feel like 20 power cores is definitely too many for the rocket engine, but I guess I'll have to wait for the update to compare it with other forms of thrust. The gyro is fantastic though, and the amount of visibility with the new cockpit looks incredible.
I'm slightly surprised no-one went for a piston bomb thrower: sure it might be hard to aim with, but let's face it, until it hits there's no way anyone is going to see those shots, so there's a fun stealth attack
Also I think they need to make quantum rudders have a toggle feature so that you can have a warp speed and so that you can turn off dampers in combat scenarios
