Costa Maya / Mahahual - June 2024

This was a short trip to Costa Maya / Mahahual Mexico to do some SCUBA diving. Since there was a tropical depression in the area, we didn't get to do much diving and the visibility wasn't very good. Since the weather was bad, the first day of diving was at Cenote Azul. The cenote is from 120 to 240+ foot deep in the center, with about 20 foot visibility at best. We didn't get to dive the Chinchorro Reef because the weather did not improve. We did five ocean dives and got to see some great coral and fish life. Doctor Dive SCUBA is a great shop and Charlie is one of the best Dive Master that I have ever dove with.
