Reminds me of Twilight. The feeling of the writer just living out her own fantasies vicariously through the characters, specifically getting it on with young hot dudes. I imagine that's why it's incredibly popular with a lot of women as well.

Exactly. Ironic, her whole webtoon story seems to be very critical in nature of beauty standards as a whole and how that affects how we’re treated by society but the only thing that people can seem to focus on is her visuals. I wanted to know more about her actual creative thought process while writing the story. Is it actually a social commentary? Is it something she lived through herself? A bit disappointed.
@@rjlee-cc4xy her webcomic barely criticised any beauty standards though and maybe even in fact reinforced those ideas. At the end, the main character wasn't ever confident with her own face and wore makeup to go out. No matter what, Koreans would find it difficult to look past the visuals because it's what they've been doing for years - to focus on how people look.
The creator herself is obsessed over looks.She made her webtoon meaningless.The host is a complete trash. 4.16/4.17 minutes are all about praising about looks.These shows are mostly about praising looks and showing off wealthy lifestyle.
I love how her love of fashion as well as her style reflected on Jugyeong. Even her color palette. You can see how much she loves her character and put so much into her

People come in different shapes and sizes regardless of race and gender. It's not commonly seen or represented in media, but East Asian people can absolutely be curvy without surgery. In the case of this creator, I can't say whether she's done work on her body though.
