I don't care what is new and "current", I'll always come back to listen to my roots, I grew up on the Mississippi Mass Choir. I am South Mississippi born and raised, and truly miss the days that we all went to Jackson, MS and went to hear them at their annual performance (one of the biggest), I knew several members of the MMC, and miss those days very much. ANY TIME I NEED TO SHOUT, I COME BACK TO THESE OLD SONGS. OR IF MY SOUL NEEDS UPLIFTED, I GO TO THEM.... THEM HEAVENLY HIGHWAY HYMNALS, THOSE OLD BLOOD SONGS.

This song and Ma Mosie remind me of my mother who passed in 2004 of pancreatic cancer and she was still running and working for Jesus until she took her last breath. Praise God!!!!!
