What’s up with the CRT and flatscreen displaying the same picture? How does that work, it looks really cool and I’d like to have a similar setup. Also, the picture looked pretty crisp on the flatscreen. From my experience, consoles below 720p look really washed out and pixelated on newer TVs. Are you using some sort of upscaling device?
A few things work together to make this all possible. All of my retro consoles are hooked up with an RGB SCART connection which is the cleanest signal you can get out of these systems. Ultimately, they all end up at a device called an Extron Crosspoint, which is a AV Matrix Switcher that distributes the video to the different screens. Before the video hits the TV, it passes through an Upscaler called the RetroTINK-5x. It takes the 240p (or whatever) from the retro consoles and properly scales them with minimal latency to fill up the 1080p output the TV ends up seeing. The result is absolutely gorgeous, and if you are serious about retro gaming on original hardware at all, I couldn’t recommend the RT5x enough! TVs alone just simply do not scale retro content very well. They kind of make a mess tbh. 🤣 If you want to dive into this world at all, I’d recommend checking out retrorgb.com!
Awesome little video. I know it’s disappointing because I’d bet $1 trillion you already have like 5 copies of Cybermorph. But FWIW the game is at least a good game. Way better than the internet says!

Keep playing it…its 3D Bosses get very cool midway to the end of the game especially for when it was released in the early 1990s. Also…❤️ how it was/is completely open world & not on rails. Again…especially at that time in the early ‘90s.
I bought a shoe box of NES games from the pawn shop. Some of the labels look like they went through a nuclear war. One of htem the label was totally gone. Ended up being some game called Kabuki Quantum Fighter.... which Id never heard of, and is actually super dope!!! I need to figure out how to make a replica label somehow cause the games surprisingly fun.
