That head to head stuff at 00:47 seconds and 06:09 minutes, is remarkable! - it is dagerous, for sure. (Just make sure ur instramentation mechanic is well fed)
Anyone know what happened to one of the jets from the diamond formation as it was not present for a good portion of the demo on day 2? However, it did come back and joined the other 5 towards the end
You'll be lucky to see a show where at least one plane doesn't have mechanical issues and has to "RTB." Thank God this is the last season with the legacy F/A-18A/B models and they're getting F/A-18E/F models next season. They're the oldest planes in the fleet.
The fastest speed is about 700 mph (just under Mach 1; Sneak Pass) and the slowest speed is about 120 mph (indicated speed; Section High Alpha), both flown by the solo pilots during the show.

no. same as T-Birds. just different branch & different aircraft. i do believe T-Bird pilots use g-suits where B.A.'s do not.

Engine problems, they said the plane was not working properly and he didn’t feel safe in formation with it in that condition

They stage out of Gary, Indiana. No need to shut down O'Hare or Midway.

skinnyb82 so true almost every Blue Angel show I went to one jet always had issues I only seen 2 Blue angel shows with no issues
