Appealing to guys by singing metal songs in a highly developed contralto voice…. Is absolutely brilliant by the way. Good angle, good hook, magnificent voice. It has nothing to do with you being hot. You’re a really good singer
Absolutely amazing talent. Fantastic work. While there's no way anyone can compare to the power in Bens voice or deliver the emotion of this song like he does, you did absolutely great.
The song is sung with a heavy grunt from the male vocalist as a way to create a heavy feeling to the song. You are in tune with the song, but it loses a little bit of it's heaviness with your version. That's why some of the chorus is extremely deep and low toned. You have to imagine his feelings of carrying the heavy weight of "trying again", like the grunt of lifting and holding 300lbs or something that's just above a person's weight lifting capacity. It's that feeling he's feeling as he knows trying again may just be too much to lift.
finally someone said it. i was searching forever trying to find real feedback and not endless praise. she's not bad, but she doesn't convey any real emotion. on "strong men die" she just blandly holds the note, whereas the original singer leans into it with distortion. it's too clean and, to me, feels totally apathetic. this feels like a pop cover. and i guess people like that. not my thing though, no disrespect

A duet would be cool af
Boy! You talking that “bring me to life” type hype!
Listen to Dear Agony from the Aurora album with Lacey Sturm, it’s so fucking good.
I love Lacey Strum bro 🙌🏿
FR
Sounds fantastic, I think it would be an amazing ADDITION to Ben’s already incredible vocals, not a replacement to. That would be absolutely epic!!
YES! I said the same thing! Everyone's like "you can't replace Ben", and well duh you can't, but Blow Me Away ft. Valora from the HALO soundtrack sounds AMAZING! I've also been to BB concerts where Amy Lee of Evanesance(who were on the bill as well and opened for BB) came out and performed with Ben and the band and it sounded FUCKING AWESOME!
I would think it would sound absoluetly sick as a duet!
Borderline annoying. Why do females gotta over do it...smh
Appealing to guys by singing metal songs in a highly developed contralto voice…. Is absolutely brilliant by the way. Good angle, good hook, magnificent voice. It has nothing to do with you being hot. You’re a really good singer
Holy shit! This was way better than I expected.
Absolutely amazing talent. Fantastic work. While there's no way anyone can compare to the power in Bens voice or deliver the emotion of this song like he does, you did absolutely great.
I second that. Very good 👍
The song is sung with a heavy grunt from the male vocalist as a way to create a heavy feeling to the song.
This is what I wanted to say. It has nothing to do with her being female. It's because she uses no grit in her voice. Too clean for me
Not to mention HEAVY autotune and post processing
whats the Song Name ?
@@stefanskodic5085 I was referring to the Breaking Benjamin song the girl this video was covering.
If they would have that must be you!! Absolutely astonishing😮😮
Amazing cover ❤ 😮
So evanescence
sounds nothing like them. sounds more like haley williams if anything.
Evanescence is an annoying band 😂
@@Joeofalltrades85 Heyyyyy, there 2 great songs, haha
I'm going to listen to evanescence right now
@@iycephoenixx4249 sounds like nails on a chalkboard
Breaking Benjamin's gruff roars are a must, you're great! Very paramore :)
Great voice, but Ben has so much soul in his voice. It’s impossible to replicate. Not taking anything away from you though. You’re an amazing singer.
I've never heard Breaking Benjamin, and I'm just a layperson when it comes to music but you sound really good here. I would listen to a full version of this.
So basically they become Lacuna Coil ;)
All kidding aside, this sounded amazing.
Dude I hope
Came and said this too. Sounds exactly like Lacuna Coil....with reverb 😂
@@PLKxR Nothing at all like Cristina Scabbia.
Very cool. Love hearing people still cover this song.
Goosebumps
Your version just opened a window for duet material
Thanks for bringing back Breaking Benjamin into my life. That was gorgeous!
"Controversial opinion..."
Asks a question lol
Was about to comment the same thing
Some of the comments on here are just mind-blowing 🤦you sang great and would be a fantastic addition to the band!!! Keep it up and don't let bad comments/people bring you down 🙏🙏
Beautiful! what a voice! excellent cover!!
I would like to hear the full cover!
If they both sang together it would be electric
Agree:]
She would be perfect for it
I don't think you understand, I NEED you guys to cover more Breaking Benjamin songs. It's a NECESSITY ❤
I 100 percent agree🤘🖤🔥🔥
Yes please!
Yeah and perform them live too!
I concur as well. Since their first album, Breaking Benjamin has easily been my favorite band in that particular metal/rock genre or niche… LOL, I have NO idea what genre that may even be, But my opinion still stands, 🤣 lol. 👊!!!
Yes 💯
Why have I never seen Audra try so hard in her vocals? This has never shown in their videos...... If it's not edited somehow, this is absolutely incredible
You do a nice cover, I'll give you you credit. You have a great voice
They've had a guest female vocalist for "dear agony" it was majestic
I must disagree. Didnt liked it at all. Ben is shouting. He is singing and doing epic growl/screamo, and none of those females do this. This just don't much to his songs full of emotions. He is screaming out his emotions, feeling it. Those girls just sang it out. Repeted it with their soft Avril voices. Nothing special.
@@nataliapasternak9300 there is a vocalizer for Breaking Benjamin there is two versions Aurora and regular so listen to the both and try to hear the vocalizer
Lacey Sturm is a great singer. While you’re entitled to your opinion, I found the acoustic duet of Dear Agony with her refreshing.
God I love that song
Thats basically like throwing a love potion at a man thats not deaf.
Very good job !
I'm deaf and it still worked 😅
No vocals out there can hit the way Ben's does its his emotional tone that makes their music so much better than the rest.
Great vocalization and mixing! 👍🏼
i want this full cover in my table RIGHT NOW
It is already done dude. It is here.

I'd love to hear them do Ashes of Eden. It's my immediate go tk whenever I listen to Breaking Benjamin
@@camerondon3712 sameeeeee just discovered them and this gives me goose bumps just listening to it. So good.
Wow 👏👏
Hell, I forgot about Dear Agony. Time to revisit that one and probably have a good cry. Haha 😁
PLEASEEEEE DEAR AGONYYYY PPLLEEAASSEEE OMFG 🤩🤩🤩🤩
U got the voice...the looks....and the SOUL!!!!
lol
Beautiful cover! Ben has just a bit of grit in his voice that isnt being captured here. Also, his voice is RIDICULOUSLY powerful so a female would have to have a set of lungs like Amy Lee. Great work though!
