Dear Ben, I'm overhauling an old Ni-MH VX-1 like you in this Video. I'm planning to use 36S li ion batteries, and here is my question: Is it neccesary to lower or modify the low voltage cutoff voltage (even possible?) to work with lithium pack properly? I have the factory Peak PCAN-USB tool and software. What do you recomend? Thank you for your answer!

I don't recall off hand what the low voltage cut-off on the Vectrix control board is. Lithium batteries have a "flatter" discharge curve than other battery types, so if you are waiting for the cycle to stop you from riding, you've probably already run your lithium batteries down way too far.
I'd recommend just having a good volt-meter on on the cycle to monitor your pack voltage while it's under load. Know what that minim voltage is, and don't ride beyond that. I used a Cycle Analyst for this, but even better would be some sort of BMS system which could monitor all cells at once and even alert you or cut power at that point.
