@@davidsegarra9953 it gives room for growth. We've seen raiden at the height of his power so many times why not see him grow to power? He very well still most become the thunder god.

I saw some Invasions footage on youtube, and somehow he just works really well even though the charcater himself has been reworked. Some really cool lightning effect too
It's funny to me, how you said, when you were invited to play MK11 to the 2018's premiere, you played just an hour and you called a day, because there weren't nothing left to learn. Now, almost five years later, you still play it on a daily basis.
I always agree with Max and others that say this game could do more gameplay wise instead of like the same strings over and over.......but i still love this game. The presentation in this is nothing like any otger game. All the detailed intros and outros every character has and mid match taunts.....and fatalities is so damn Kool. I cant help but keep playing to see them.❤
I was just thinking that the main intro kinda looks like mob from mob psycho. And the I saw the percenetage and i finally figured out where your intro is from
The animation, stages you fight in & the graphics are amazing in mk11...shame the game is a grind kind of...especially to get brutalities & intro/outros...which were beautiful to look at...they really made you work for it.
With red lightning for Raiden his normal lightning is red here, demon skin in Injustice 2 makes it red and I think in X if we choose Dark Raiden the lightning is a redish orange color. I do like the deeper dark blue (Mythologies skin) and the green lightning
because thats what he is. hes the new chosen one. hes as old and skilled as young lie kang was, but he will grow and learn to become earthrealms protecter after liu kang.
@@KombatFlux I get that, the issue I have with the new Raiden is how he looks, not menacing at all, Liu Kang always looked great as earthrealm champion. They went from realistic characters to literally anyone with a cosplay, at least for Raiden. Look at Reptile model, it looks 1000 times better.
@@Warioland80 reptile has always looked better as time went on, but in this timeline raiden is just now becoming a lightning manipulator. if you havent watched the first chapter of story mode, he didnt even have those powers! he was still a kid farming lettuce with kung lao.
@@KombatFlux Exactly, reptile is looking amazing while the protagonist looks scrawny as general shao said, I wish his design was better. At least gameplay wise it looks fun to play.

To me Raiden has always been boring which is weird because when the original mk came Raiden was the guy to me that kinda stuck out the crazy hat realistic lightning but he was always boring in play style and character mostly playstyle and I think that's because Raiden doesn't have a playstyle he is not a rush down zoner oddedly his fight style I guess if I played around my strategy would corner my opponent he kinda jack of trades but not great at anything now the rework comes in and they can make him more interesting mk x had the chance but mk x probably had the weakest and lamest story out of the current trilogy my.aybe they can get to be interesting
