I honestly feel bad about all of the "When are you going to propose?" "When are you getting married?" But I love the way that you both handle them. That is something that should be between the couple. Sending love to both of you, Derek and Hay!

I’ve always taught my children the same thing about “negativity... I would say: kids, they may have just found out that their loved one has cancer, or maybe they just lost a loved one... or, just tell them “hurt people” “hurt” people! (And I think everyone should have to work at least one month in the public sector to appreciate the ones behind the counters, etc.)

Love the couple you both are. My husband and I are 9 years apart and we meet when I was 23. Well 28 years later two adult “boys” and four grand baby boyz we are happy. It doesn’t mean all were rainbows the best outweighs the bad. They are living their best life and we have a full family. Cheers to you both and which you the best.
