How do three teenagers see pros and cons of technology at their young age? They seem to be very intelligent and grounded people. Their songwriting and musical instrument and vocal talents are all equally amazing as well.
For me, this was the original message. Disciple said, OK, you didn’t listen, here’s where we’re now headed. Fabulous song and video to launch the album! 🤘🤘🤘#NumberlyGarfs
Few reactors take the time to analyze the lyrics or message of a song and for The Warning every last song has a strong message that they meticulously crafted. Song writing is what sets these girls apart from all the others. Subscriber #996.
My take on the guy jumping is that he "took the leap" to give up the technology. He survived because it won't kill you. Since you did 'Disciple', try 'Evolve' and then I'd suggest something earlier like their 2nd TEDx performance, specifically 'Survive'.
@@CodyLamReacts These young ladies are highly intelligent. You have to dig to figure out what they're saying a lot of times. Sometimes, like in 'Disciple', they play the bad side of things in order to highlight the errors/oppression/whatever of that side.
Here are some characteristics of this band: great lyrical messages, great official videos, great music. As they all started playing classical piano, before choosing their instruments, they are excellent musicians. The criative ability is still in its infancy, as they are very young. To finish. On March 15, 2022, they will open the show for Foo Fighters in México.
Definitely a great message in this song, and they continue to have meaningful lyrics that coincide with this song in one of their new songs from the Mayday EP " Disciple " which you already reacted to. I'm not sure if you've reacted to Evolve but its a straight up in your face hard rock with some powerful lyrics about human / machine evolution trans-human stuff. Great reaction
Nice reaction! Yeah, great video, a rock song with a message… do you know their newest songs already? Choke, Evolve, Animosity, Disciple, Martirio (in Spanish)… despite the shredding riffs and great melodies they always have smart lyrics, often with a message! And their mother language isn’t even English… awesome! Superb band, great power trio, greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘
They continue the message in "Z", which is also on the new EP. Heads-Up Cody. They just dropped a new video for "Animosity", the night before last. Its a collab with the author of the webtoon, "The Grim Reaper" . It's worth a look and reaction.
Superb reaction Cody Lam! The Warning know how to write and arrange great songs. I can't even find one marginal song in their entire 40+ song catalog. Pick any song; they're all great. Thank you for all your support! 👋🤓
RABIES, HARDNESS, POWER, STRENGTH AND HUGE QUALITY, THAT'S THE WARNING, DANY TREMENDOUS CLASSIC ROCK VOICE, PAU A VERY POWERFUL DRUMMER AND A LARGE BASS BASE HUGE BASES FOR TW'S SONGS, THIS THEME EVOLVES EXCELLENT LIVE LIVE.
It's clear they were born for that, Dany is a great guitar player, has a great rock singer voice (and each day she is getting better on both aspects) and in the concerts shows to be an incredible front woman, Pau even she is not 20 yet is already one of the best drummers, has a great voice, and as the "main" composer shows how smart she is, and Ale what can be said about her, she is only 17, but when there are some bassist with no less than 20 years as pro say they he hopes someday to be able to play the bass as her...
This is an awesome video, very professionally made, telling the story of being addicted to technology and by the pitfalls if it should ever lose it, will we survive or wake up?
I just stumbled onto your reactions of The Warning. Great reaction to this Masterpiece from their first LP. Subscribed and take your pick from their vast catalog. This trio of sisters have no fillers all killers. Enjoy your ride down the rabbit hole of "The Warning"!
My interpretation of the ending is that the only way he didn't die is if he was never really alive from the start. And the reason The Warning had that shocked look on their faces is that if he was never alive - if he was a construct - are we all then just constructs ourselves? Are we even really alive?
I think there is a cinematic reference to a German film, "Wings of Desire" ("Der Himmel uber Berlin", remade in 1998 as "City of Angels"). The story is about an Angel who falls in love with a human. The only way he can love or touch her is to fall from heaven, so he falls from a building and after hitting the ground, gets up to live as a human. Sorry for the wonkiness. Son of a film professor here.
That's extremely interesting, Donald. I wonder if any of them saw that film. It seem a bit unlikely, but Pau and Dany especially have always been voracious consumers of every kind of art - literature, music, film, anime etc. - so who knows.
@@jameschisholm7131 I don't think it likely that the ladies saw it. I was thinking someone with a film background in the video production group might have. It's the kind of film that is frequently studied in film schools. I think it fits with your interpretation though. He took the plunge in order to break free and live in the real wotld. Now that I think about, "... alive means to be dead ... a bullet to the head." This is a regular theme in The Warning songs. I like your thought process about the imagery.
Good point. I know they had final say about the overall feel of the video, but they were smart enough to defer to the film maker on the details/the path to achieve that concept. Fascinating stuff.
Pretty heavy lyrics for a trio of girls that are Dani (17), Pau (15), and Ale (12). I have been listening to The Warning since seeing their "Enter Sandman" cover in 2014. I have yet to be disappointed!
Dany's solo is incredibly melodic. I'd rather hear a solo like THAT, than hear a narcissistic, self-indulgent showoff solo, just to prove how many notes can be played in five seconds. The best guitar solos are ones that someone can basically hum or sing along to. Dany NAILED it!

NumberlyGrarfs! A true Warning fan!!
The Warning 4ever
The underlying message is that if you make the 'leap of faith' and leave social media, it won't kill you
Edit: I'm your subscriber 1000 😊
Awesome reaction!! Checkout the video that really gave us The Warning.. Enter sandman 2014... 23 million views and counting...

I like your analysis. These girls are very aware, especially for their age at that time. And you get a rare solo by Dany!
Dany's face melting solo: 🔥🔥🔥
Ale's thumping bass: 🤘🤘🤘
Pau's drumsticks over her shoulders:
🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥
I LOVE THIS BAND !!

I really like that way of looking at it. It makes sense. And trust me I'll be back with more soon!

The video with all 3 songs is really good because the talks between songs by the ladies is worth hearing. Very well spoken especially at that age.
Excellent choices to react to.
Excellent reaction. Thanks
Great reaction. i agree with all u said. The Warning sisters get better and better with every song. U have been warned !! 🤘⚡🎸

The message , the song , the music video , all 10/ 10 . 🎸🥁🎸
You also have to remember that they were 15, 13 and 10 when they wrote and composed this album...

The Warning Army: Is that Carlos by any chance? Since I saw him in the soundchecks and watching this video again...
Band-Maid next! You need Band-Maid in your life
At this time the guitarist was 18, the drummer was 16 and the bassist only 13 but you probably know that now
