    When sending to Turkey use the USD transfer option as transferring in TRY can be expensive to the people. As the intermediate bank has some spread on USD to TRY exchange and it will cost dearly to the customer. Also in some cases the intermediate bank holds the money until there is significant spread which is made out of customers money. So better to transfer in USD to turkey.

  • @priorityvictims8672
    @priorityvictims8672 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I expected nazrin to talk about correspondent bank charges (mainly based in US) and in some cases the intermediate bank charges involved in a wire or swift charges, apart from Turkish bank charges. The corresponding bank uses the intermediary bank when the currency is different than USD or the receiving bank doesn’t deal with the corresponding bank. The Turkish bank mainly charges 100 usd for documentation required by the corresponding bank. Usually the corresponding bank can charge up to 100 usd as well.

      There is no restriction to send out money from Turkey. There just daily limitations according by each bank... You can find out details while you open a bank account from particular branch...

    Hi Aladdin and the magic camera,,, very critical and a really highly anticipated topic of today's vid,,, my question to Nasrin
    Q1. I came across this on a Turkish lawyer website and it says: "Turkish residents are subject to income tax on their worldwide income. An individual whose domicile is in Turkey or any person who remains in Turkey more than six months in one calendar year is deemed to be a resident of Turkey" Thus a person becomes Turkish resident for 6 months Then any inbound transfers are subject to Turkish taxes ? Does this condition applicable to foreigners staying on TRP ?
    Good luck to you with the response 👍

    Thanks to both of you on discussing this issue. I believe more sessions are needed to cover this topic. For me there two parts of it.one is about initial period where you buy property and other information that important if you decide to live in Turkey. One question is about bank account security or I should say insurance. In some western countries the government insures up to $100,0000 in each regular bank account like chequing and saving for every bank. Is there such insurance policy in Turkey and what the maximum insured amount? The second question Nasrin may talked about it. Can you open an account without being physically in Turkey?

    How about : bank loans; down payment; for eg: in USA. 20% rest is bank loan, but in China now- foreigner can not get loans. Please explore: for eg: 250 k property- I put out 30% downpayment - rest in installments each month- loan period 15 years - 20 years... current bank % interest rate - of course depending on the qualification of the client financial .. Now your programmes more professional with detials - maps and neighborhood specific. good work.

    Hi, great content as always :-). I have some questions :- (1) Can I pay for the property by crypto for the citizenship by property investment program? (2) If it's not possible, is there any bank which I could open an account that can accept crypto and then convert it to cash? (3) If both options are not possible, can I open a Turkish bank account, link it to my new crypto wallet or trading account (can set up a new one in minutes), liquidate the crypto into fiat and withdraw via my bank account? Thank you.

    Slms. What are the tax rates on the income received on rented property, and what is the estimated return on commercial and residential properties?
    Can these properties be purchased under a company or property trust name and the directors and shareholders get citizenship or only available for purchase in an individuals name?
    Can a property be jointly registered under a husband and wifes name and how does that affect the citizenhip application, will it show they each only purchased 125k usd of the required 250k value?

    • @user-ov2tm2un1r
      @user-ov2tm2un1r  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Yusuf Mia. Estimated ROI depends on your property's condition, its location etc. Under current regulations a property, worth $250K, should be registered under say a husband's name and the husband may apply for the Turkish citizenship. The wife, and if there are two under age children (below the age of 18), will automatically be eligible for the citizenship.

    What is the minimum requirement for a visitor.
    You mentioned a contract or tax number.
    Suppose someone is on a visit and has 30-40 thousand dollars has no intention of signing a contract yet right away.

    Dear panel members, south east Asian countries put restrictions on transfer of funds overseas. N such restrictions are imposed by Central Bank not by commercial Banks. May be 1/4 of people which have certain profile, may be able to meet such conditions to be eligible for transfer of funds abroad. Otherwise, here is not matter of Tax in home country for remitting money abroad, it's matter of RESTRICTION by law , so it is just cup of tea, how easily you are telling. You are just aware of Turkish law, but not other country 's law, therefore, thinking & taking it so easy. N what about Turkish law about if some one wants to take money from Turkey, is it same easy as to bring inside ? Pls comment

This is why we advise our audience to work with reputable and well established law firms and companies. Moreover, you can give your solicitor either an extensive or limited authority to make legal decisions about your property, finances, or healthcare, depending on the terms of your power of attorney.
