Centred on their magnificently preserved and maintained tower house at Kirkistown, this is the story of an Anglo Norman family, the Savages, charting their fortunes in Ulster in the centuries after the Norman invasion of Ulster under adventurer knight John De Courcy.
NB: there are place names and terminology here with varying pronunciations depending on their origins!
