This is so amazing. I've never heard of this. I'm the only girl I know who's colourblind. My colourblindness is mild compared to other people like my father, but blues and purples is my issue. Thank you for sharing!!!!
Wow Cheryl!! I had no idea. I know colorblindness in women is VERY rare. If you have a chance to get your hands on these I definitely think they're worth it. Brock loves the way they work, he hates to take them off!!
I’ve heard it said that the same manufacturer makes an indoor version. I see no reason why a colorblind person should not enjoy constant correction. There is nothing wrong with altering the way in which one was born. I wear corrective glasses (just to see) 17 hours per day.
That was so sweet of you Kait! I know it sucks having to take them off, not that it's the same but, that's how I feel when I take my glasses off. The world just becomes not as sharp and unfortunately I'm not able to wear contacts but don't worry I'm sure that company is working towards a more permanent solution like contacts, regular seeing glasses, something! I think this alone is a huge step in the right direction! Technology is amazing!

I saw a video on another pair before that were actual glasses like ones you could wear all day not just sunglasses. Don't remember what they were called. But either way those are awesome. Best gift ever.

I'm mildly colorblind, I can easily see the difference betwen the red and green spot that he couldn't but I sometimes mess upp some hues, I am going to get a pair anyways cause I have always wondered if I am missing in intensity and want to see what others can.

On Android phones you can change a setting to simulate red/green and also blue/yellow color blindness. It's probably not 100% what colorblind people see but I would guess it's pretty close. It's quite interesting to give it a go and watch a few videos to see how colorblind people see the world.
Question everything No it's built into the android OS. You need to enable developer options in android. Just google how to do that. It's easy. Then in settings under the "developer options" which becomes available in settings go to Simulate color space which is the last item under the "Hardware accelerated rendering" heading. There you can change to different kinds of colorblind modes and also monochrome.
Huh, I'm color blind and I can distinguish the red dot from the green dot on that box *VERY* clearly. Maybe my case is milder and his is really severe? Anyway, I've just ordered a pair of EnChroma glasses, looking forward to experiencing the difference for myself :)

More than 99% of color blind individuals actually see color already. Color blindness usually just messes up the way you see colors. I'm *badly* color blind, but I can still perceive the entire spectrum. It's the people that are completely missing certain color cones that won't notice anything unusual with EnChromas, because they lack the cones to perceive those colors to begin with. Just thought I'd help clear this up.
my boyfriend, his mom and his brother are all color blind. My boyfriend told me when he went to a vocational high-school he was taking an electrician shop class and he couldn't tell the difference between the wire colors.
KAIT! My husband has these glasses and you can order just lenses to fit into your regular glasses! With or without prescription. My husband has them for his job! They're on the website! 🤓
If they could make them in contacts you would never have to take them off. I need these as well, but there is no way I have money for something that costly. It's really not that much of a problem for me anyway. It is cool to see how someone reacts to seeing color for the first time.
