I’m deeply sorry for your loss. It sounds like your first wife was an extraordinary person, and her journey from Camagüey to the U.S. through Operation Peter Pan must have been a remarkable chapter in her life. Her strength and character clearly made a lasting impression, and it's evident she meant a great deal to you.
I agree, especially in the intense heat, Paseo del Prado is a great place to walk. It's a nice spot to enjoy the shade of the trees and the unique architecture of the city. The atmosphere there is truly special!
So many beutiful parks.
I have walked those streets many times. My heart bleeds for Cuba.
My first wife (deceased) was from Camaguey. She came to the US on Operation Peter Pan. She was an amazing person.
