its to cold in my shop but i use oil Ill do it in some coming up for ya but i use minwax sparvarnish or varethane oil

I’m so glad you have a workshop indoors to do all the detailing. I’ve watched so many chainsaw carvers over the years, carving outdoors only and every one of them said doing everything outdoors can be a real pain most of the time. You do beautiful work. I can’t wait to see your take on a life size wolf 🐺 pair someday. Your small detailing is what sets your work apart from the rest. It’s not just sculpting its a in-depth knowledge of wood 🪵 too.

I’m curious what something that size sells for?
My biggest problem is that most of mine have been sold to friend/family or given as a gift, but I struggle with what and how to charge per piece.
Any advice will help!
took about a week lol I never change my clothes lol... with charging for each carver I advice them to use there time, cost of wood, cost of use and what youre time is valued at .. I sold that bear for 7800. my prices are a little difffent but i also use the best wood i can get and factor in my costs and travel and wood its tricky but i hope that helps
