I've done a couple ranked races and this always happens when going for a move whether it's for the lead or p15. Peoples egos can't handle getting overtaken or lapped.
Never understood cheaters, especially in PvP games. Like what are they saying about themselves? That they're too crap to even play much less win!
Doesn't surprise me an EA title is full of bugs and cheats though. Par for the course!

@@FreshPie2 there is a lag issue when cross platform is enabled. I know this because I was playing with my friend and it seemed like he was missing all apexes when he was not from his end

This is exactly why I hit Elite rank as soon as possible. I will never hop on ranked for the rest of this game now that I hit Elite. The mode has so many bugs and things wrong with it for it being a "competitive" game mode. Regular corner cutting rules is an absolute joke. It was so frustrating to play.

Seriously, every week there are new players above Esports drivers on the TT leaderboards. And I am like a second off of WW laps, but then run into guys who are 3 seconds faster than me in quali but lose their front wings twice in the race.

@@inahole2678 Anti-cheat is invassive. It will break the f1 modding scene, it will also break steam deck compatibility, probably. If they go really invassive, they'll go kernel level, which will block older cpu platforms from playing.
Additionally, no anti-cheat has ever truly stopped cheaters.

@@dbzcollector9963 i do know that i dont suck. I mean im not a pro but i get into top 1000to3000 in time trials. So it cant be that bad
@@robertverwijs2879 time trials aren’t exactly the best bench mark for skill in a race. Anyone can grind time trial till they get a higher rank cause you have the benefit of optimal conditions and no wear and tear on your car. I can easily place in the top 100 in time trials but I’m barely a gold 2 rank cause the settings are completely different in ranked. Like track limits being way more lenient in ranked vs time trial so you can actually go faster in ranked but there’s also tire wear and ERS drain you have to consider.

Lol I know I’ve been called a cheater even tho I can’t possibly be cheating if I spin out more often than not trying to push and it mainly cause I’m always ahead of everyone and I’m on pc. If I were on console tho no one would be saying anything…. Even tho you can most definitely cheat on console by taking some cheat lines on tracks like silverstone coming out of maggots and beckets. You don’t need to hacks to cheat in this game, but cheating takes away the whole point of competition so I don’t understand the point of it to begin with. Why pay 70$ just to turn on cheats so you can artificially win every race? How is that fun? Lol

Danny Ric should do pretty good compared to Tuki since he is already familiar with Red Bull’s system and he’ll be able to offer better feedback faster. Plus he was at his best in a Red Bull designed mainly for Max’s driving style over his own. That time with Red Bull can pay off for him here.
