Commissioner here! Man, after all the other tracks I'd bought, I felt like I was almost giving myself too high expectations for this one. But lo and behold, Brandon smashed them ten times over! I don't know why I even wavered for a second. I adore how incredibly dynamic this track is, it gives it so much life and makes it easier to dream along with it and picture what a potential script would look like, which is the highest compliment I can give a vs track. I think this is my new favorite vs track and it hasn't even got it's two vocals yet! (you really get what you pay for with mr yates here huh)

After seeing the comments, I think I should explain Aladdin a bit, at least VS wise. Does he win? Not sure, but I should stress: it's probably not as one sided as it looks. Aladdin has a lot of hax to work with, including but not limited to: - Manipulating Gravity itself to deflect attacks, whether close range or projectile based - Blowing up things from the inside out by heating up water so much it explodes (which would count as dura negation) - Rewriting someone's genetic structure in any way shape or form, including making it so someone can't possess you, which would be pretty unfortunate if your powers were based on reincarnation or something (not entirely sure how Yugo's work) You could argue that Yugo blitzes so none of this matters, but if AP were to be even (which there is a legitimate chance, it's still being looked into) Yugo wouldn't be able to oneshot and his battle style focuses on getting in close, which is not a position you want to be in against Aladdin for reasons listed above. I'm not saying Aladdin wins, but I wouldn't underestimate him, either
Don’t know, what I can dig up is they have complete production of at least the first three episodes of Season 4. Could be wrong but next season could be out at earliest early 2023, at latest 2024

Connections: -They're the most dangerous villains in their respective series. -They both share traits of being manipulative(With Mephiles manipulating Silver to kill Sonic and Niles manipulating SMG0 and Melony). -At one point, they took a demonic form of an anthromorthic animal character(Shadow and Axol). -They also serve as an enemy towards someone who lost somebody special to them(Shadow(Who lost Maria) and Melony(Who lost Axol)). -They were once sealed inside something(Scepter Of Darkness and Guardian Pod) and the heroes tried to use the same method, but failed. -Their goals involves merging with someone else to gain power(Iblis and SMG0). -They are the cause of the destruction of someone's world(With Iblis destroying Silver's world and Niles destroying SMG0's world and then Spudnik's world). -At one point, one of the heroes sacrificed themselves to stop them(With Blaze sealing herself in another dimension with Iblis and Axol telling Melony to kill him) only for their sacrifice to be in vein since they come back anyway(With Mephiles releasing Iblis by making Elise cry by killing Sonic and Niles possessing Melony after he died). -They also used a legendary artifact to gain power(Chaos Emeralds and God Box). -Eventually, they were defeated in a peaceful way(With Elise blowing the flames of Solaris away, and SMG0 calming Niles down). Originally, it was Mephiles Vs SMG0, but then Revelations changed my mind and made me realize that Niles was behind it all. Who wins? Idk. Both Sonic and SMG4 are quite weird in their lore. It depends on which is the most bs.

After a small break with two April Fools tracks, we're back with full blown matchup commissions. And we start off with a really solid one. The song itself is active and extremely varied in how it sounds. There's much softer parts with piano that then switch directly over to guitar/synth parts and vice-versa, giving the song a very nice overall atmosphere that isn't repetitive but still fluid and without abrupt changes. Seriously, the way the song transitions from piano to synth to violin to synth again etc... is absolutely great and sounds completely natural. The melody itself is pretty catchy and memorable enough to stand out from other songs. I'll especially note the whole segments going from 3:23 to 3:52 and the ending from 4:52 to 5:40 which, respectively, make up for a really epic buildup for a major event in the fight that I absolutely love and a final climax to the battle that inevitably ends in the defeat of one of the fighters. Although perhaps I do wish the ending had a bit more punch to it than it does. It's helped a bit by the slight cut at 5:14 that increases the intensity of the song, but I feel like it could have been accentuated more. However, this absolutely does not change the fact that this song overall sounds more than good and that it's a great job, as always.
The beginning gave me the most nostalgia I’ll ever get, Wakfu is one of my all time favorite shows and the intro song is one of the best in cartoons(the full version slaps), don’t know much about Aladdin but it mixed well, Yugo FTW

Aladdin is probably comparable to Yugo but I swear vs debaters love to claim a victor before knowing the other side. I have seen and love both. Both are my favorite characters. I don’t know who would win since Aladdin’s scaling gets hard real quick. But this would be like Reverse Flash vs Goku Black again. Yugo has that power. But Aladdin is a hax machine.

I'm sure the potential fight (if it happens instead of Yugo VS Klonoa or before it) is fun in terms of animation and fight choreography. I'm not trying to start anything. Remember the Eliacube can be used to traverse dimensions in space and time and was stated to have been used to alter the Wakfu timeline. I cant remember the Dofus too well but the 7 Dofus form Yugo used in the show was roughly on par with the first use of the Eliacube, so that would be a fine high end. Aladdin’s big three hax that would end him would be Atom Manipulation, Physics Manipulation and Acausality (but that last one shouldn’t matter too much). But it is hard to say if Aladdin is universe level. He scales to his dad Solomon, I just don’t know what that is. You are fine mate lol. I stepped away from vs debating because of this habit. All the logic and facts in universe canon aside , Yugo is actually closer to a match to Goku then Aladdin unless we go by end of series Aladdin. Which I am but I have no idea where he is at compared to Solomon. Could be as low as multi continent or planet level to as high as universe level as well. I cant honestly answer because I would have to think about it, but my gut instinct is to tell me Yugo is far more consistently at his god tier forms at universal then Aladdin is. But hey, all that aside again, take it with a grain of salt. I am not the only vs debater or power scaler. I could be wrong, especially since for Aladdin I am kind of dancing around where he could be at because of what I said about lol.

Also his one of his best friends is literally god.

Aladdin in the manga has been shown to understand the multiverse, once built a new body out of matter, is not controlled to the cause and effect mind and fate rewrite by David and is supposed to be comparable to his dad, Solomon. Who created Djinn but more importantly later defeated Il Illah after ascension, a universal being who caused the end of the Alma Torran Universe. This event was so catastrophic it was implied Solomon left and found another multiverse just so his ‘mages’ (now Djinn) could live in because the fate of that universe basically caused a big multiversal butterfly effect that not only lead to his ascension but made him understand the fundamental concepts of fate within the White and Black Rukh. At this point, he realized the universe he came from was forever fucked so he had to created Dungeons and Djinns in another parallel dimension.
After a solid 4 days, I think I can safely say this is one of my favorite tracks from you, up there with Will of the Drill imo. Between this, Never Second Best, Couple's Night Out, and Verbing the Noun, I can't wait for this batch to get released on Spotify.

Both are reincarnated kings of a lost kingdom in a distant world that was lost to war, guarding a new world that they’ve come to love dearly after traveling with people from all over. Both also struggle with the responsibility of being the ones in control of the world, having doubts if they can even do it.
May I ask what these two have in common? Also it's actually tragic that Magi gets the Madoka Magica treatement. All the weaker characters lose in their MU's while the strong ones win.

Unpopular opinion, but while Twilight Sparkle and Grim, Billy & Mandy are "fine" opponents, Aladdin & Genie and Nobita & Doreamon are much more interesting opponents. Plus the animation potential.
