Most of the facilites just need to be updated a little bit, it's definitely going to be profitable for LA

i disagree with the con that stadiums will need new technology. most of the facilities including the renovations of la coliseum, the new NFL stadium, staples center, the new LA FC stadiums, etc will already be equipped with new technologies as they are modern.

As someone from Southern California. I can't even begin to fathom LA traffic during the games. Holy hell

2 weeks, stop whining. LA didn't have Metro back in 1984 and traffic was so good it surprised everyone.

If it wasn’t a problem during the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles then it most definitely will not be a problem during the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles!

Perhaps you weren’t here or were too young for 1984, but there was less traffic than normal.

They better build housing for the homeless, because tent cities are going to be an eyesore.

traffic traffic is the major issue. we need a Metro linking to the airport directly. almost all cities have it. why cant LA do it?the use of shuttle from parking lot to the terminal is a joke. God helps us.

I know I'm I know from watching the Olympic games in London in my opinion the Olympic games of this century so far that already having things in place is a good we had everything ready a year before the games started and we all know how Rio struggled to put the 2016 games together the IOC don't want that again idea the LA Chargers are building a new stadium why don't the put a running track for the Olympic games then you save a couple of billion on building a new stadium then more money can be save to go on the main thing trans sport inferstructure and air pollution

Here are the ones that should be the final torchbearers in LA.
    1. Michael Phelps
    2. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird (w/the Dream Team)
    3. Caitlyn Jenner
    4. Carl Lewis
    5. Mary Lou Retton (w/Carly Patterson, Nastia Liukin, Gabby Douglas, and Simone Biles)

muslim countries do not have a strong olympic presence anyway, even if they boycott the games there will be no impact at all.
