It's really cool that when Namco references their other games in Pacman, They consistently brought up Mappy in recent years, especially in this game where it's a skin feature. Hopefully in the future, Namco actual more things with Mappy, like getting a new sequel and bring his entire series in modern consoles these days.

Can we talk about the other load of Namco games that haven't gotten attention in YEARS also being acknowledged? Dig Dug is great, but they always port it every few years. With some games here like Genpei Tōma Den, Bravo-Man, Wonder Momo and COSMO GANG, they have laid dormant, not being cared about.

Bandai Namco certainly remembered the more obscure games: Sky Kid, Tower Of Druaga, Legend Of Valkyrie, Dragon Buster, The Return Of Ishtar, METRO-CROSS, Wonder Momo, The Genji & Heike Clans, Baraduke, Bravoman, Cosmo Gang & Toy Pop. 🎮
Namco Classic #4 is Dragon Spirit #5 is Toy Pop. (I only know those two because they had this classic namco machine that I played and the second was from the first Namco Museum) did anyone recognize Mappy?

I mean.... the game itself is free... If the gane cost money, yeah, tabt would be straight up unacceptable to pay for plractice mode, but its free - they don't wanna give you the whole game for free, just the online component

that's a mechanic in the original arcade game, you can cross paths with a ghost at the exact same moment you "swap" positions and seem to pass through the ghost. you can see there's a specific sound effect and visual effect when you do it in this game

1. Colorful is a Pac Arrangement reference.
2. The block and frame themes are references to Pac-Mania's Block Town and Pac-Man Park.

Nah. Dig Dug gets enough love. It's Mappy that needs more love. Honestly in my opinion, Mappy is a much better game than Dig Dug and Pacman.
