Way to hard to open, you have hold with a second hand because it requires so much pressure. It’s just not usable for me or others I’ve let try it, practice or not.
It is not as intuitive as it looks like it would be to get it open. One key to opening it is having it on a hard surface so you can press down on it with your hand while trying to open it.
To be honest...I'd rather have one quality box than the promotion they run as buy one get one free which is nonsense for a cheap plastic box they probably make for $2. For the same money...go with a vaultek lifepod 2.0. Just my opinion
@DoubleEagleGunworks the lifepod isn't designed to be a safe either. I'd put it in the same category as this lock box. The fact that it's weather proof and airtight is just a bonus.
Had trouble with my fat Sig. Worked fine with my slim Ruger though. Try getting thinner foam.
Thinner guns definitely work easier, but the key to opening the box is pushing down on the lid before you press the buttons.
