That's interesting! I didn't realize there was a controller for these suspensions. Nice review there, I'm gonna take a look at that once I get the Pro-Kit put on. That's pretty exciting you can fine tune the suspension like that. 👍
It’s a modern way of tuning your suspension. Every spring I’ve gone with typically softens the ride. I didn’t want that - and I feel like with each update, Chevy softens the ride. This controller has really taken my car to the next level with feedback. If you want to go in the other direction and make your ride softer, you can do that as well, but I personally made my car a lot stiffer except for “touring mode “. I kept that mode soft so when I travel. I have been to other states like SC and some parts of NC where the roads are terrible.
How is that DSC now a couple years later? It actively controls the damping depending on various g and accel input. And those shocks should respond super quickly. Also, how are the H&R springs and the Mag shocks being on a lowering spring?
Man those springs make the car look incredible. I live in an area in CA where the roads suck, and I daily my 1LE (and canyon carve basically every weekend). Do you think the H&R springs will be good with the less than stellar roads or would I be worried about bottoming out or rubbing often? The better look and ride actually seem appealing to me, the car is so capable that I never will reach it's maximum potential on the mountain roads anyways lol
I have the opposite problem i just recently picked up a 2017 2ss 6 speed and it is by far the roughest riding vehicle ive ever been in, like hitting a pot hole makes me feel like i just got punch and going over the highway transfers on the bridges dam near makes me bunch out of my seat due to how rough it is
Great video and explanation! I just picked up a 2019 2SS 1LE and it is lowered but I can’t tell which springs they are. I looked around the springs with a flash light and a mirror but it doesn’t have anything written on them. Does your HR springs have any writing on them, are they black like the OEM ones are? Mine are black and it definitely looks lowered at least one inch. I can only fit a finger and a half for the fronts and barely two fingers for the rear in the wheel gap between the tire and fender.
As in “custom tune magnetic ride” do you mean you can make the mag ride settings more tuned in to how you want your ride or does is take over the mag ride? I have a 2023 1LE with mag ride and would assume it would work the same stock as it does with these springs.
Hey brother I have a question for u I just got the same springs as u and I just finished the front ? And it dose not look as low as yours dose ? Did I do something wrong?
Is there ANY magnetic ride control tuner available for the 5th gen Camaro ZL1? I don't care about brand. Or, do you know if the touring setting for a fifth Gen ZL1 is fairly soft? I want to buy a ZL1 and have the ability to make it ride like family sedan in the softest setting while still having something very close to the stock track mode performance in track mode. I'm not so concerned with increasing performance as I am with having a 500+horsepower car that my girlfriend will ride in with me. It's she can do her make up in the car the way she can in my Camry, THAT is what I'm looking for. Take her to the movies Saturday evening and then BURN IT DOWN from light to light on Saturday night.
Yes, and they are softer than the BMR and 1le springs. I was looking to enhance the ride and rigidity, versus stancing. I looked at the springs rates for them as well. Thanks for looking out though.
@@miggs5106 I got mine from Vivid Racing, but Wildhammer has them as well. The sku: 50770 if you have a 1le. wildhammermotorsports.com/16-19-camaro-ss-1le-performance-lowering-spring-kit-h-r/?gclid=CjwKCAjwm7mEBhBsEiwA_of-TCgI4ArzAE8V_jmOJtHpgEhPGqof0vQAaUh-6bb5y-AcdeGK4IO34hoCO7YQAvD_BwE

What a car man!!! Looks amazing lowered!!!
Are you able to upload the settings you are using for the suspension for each mode?

How many shock modes does an SS come with?
can you have magnetic ride installed
on your Camaro if it doesn't have it from factory built?

What do you think of these springs on track? I really want to lower the car but people say it throws off the geometry on track.
What size wheel and tire setup are you running? And did you get any rubbing in the rear once you lowered it
My man!
Baby steps
Any alignment issues with the HR springs like with the Eibach?

Hi ur camaro looks great with the h & r springs where did u odder from ?
How's the ride quality on these springs? I have a 2017 1LE same color scheme as yours and I'm looking to buy these, but I don't want a harsh ride.
did you need to change your camber bolts when installing the h&r springs?

Sir, where do you buy it those Suspension? Please post the link. Thank you
Phastek PX1s are Linear and made for the 1LE.

Is the ride height because of springs or did you use the dsc to lower it more?
It’s because of the springs. The controller doesn’t physically alter the car.
What springs are you running?
H & R 1le springs. It's a 1.25 drop square.
@@backnu do you have the url? for the springs
