I’m from Buffalo that’s hella inspiring being from upstate makes it feel like you stuck no one makes it and everyone who leaves always comes back I hate it here
Loved this episode! But I will not rest until Dan Serna is on. Bully him until it happens, I don’t care what you have to do. I’m starting a movement #fuckdanserna
Thank you Jon. I really do love your kicks. It must be how you lace them too. They look like jordan skate shoes. I would love to know the shoes you wore on the podcast with Lara. Thank you for everything tho thanks for the laughs n stories. You da best.
To act like all the knowledge isn’t freely available nowadays is ridiculous, just like college, free courses online Ivy League etc, only you have to pay to get the paper. So if you want the knowledge, it’s fully accessible certificate or not. Same with in a shop or not. Hygiene and skill can come from any route and some of the best tattooers in the world are self taught. It’s not either or, if the skill is there suddenly people don’t care about history, home, school or apprenticeship. Good tattoos speak over all. We all love legendary tattooers who tattoo each other on a rock for memories, and hygiene isn’t the issue, we are just like wow that’s rad, that’s filip fucking leu tattooing in nature, sick. What you judge people for always says more about you. great show, cheers guys.
@@unemployablepodcast Yeah I get what you’re saying and I agree. It’s a different industry. I was just saying in general. Like construction apprentices and stuff of that nature get paid while they learn. So I can see why some may think they’ll get paid.
First thing I want to say is I absolutely love you guys! ......But the dialogue sounded kind of condescending and on your high hourse at times. Anyways, were all human...and maybe it's me

I get what you guys are saying. But in every other trade you get paid during your apprenticeship so it makes sense as to why they expect it.
Tattoo apprenticeships have never been paid.
