What a topic--anger. I have never seen so much anger in my life, and it's the worst in the church. People claiming to be part of the body but tearing each other to shreds if others don't agree with them. They can't get along with brothers and sisters so I don't know how they'll get to heaven and magically change to get along. My heart breaks and I cry when I read some of the comments. Using God's Word to devour each other is not acceptable. Anger is worse than a cancer. To all the body of our Lord Jesus Christ I send my deepest Love and my commitment to share the Joy and Peace of our Saviour and His gift of Salvation. Thank you Pastor JD for this, and may God protect and Bless your ministry

The Holy Spirit needed to give me this message today. My husbands son, is on heroin. It has been such a travesty to the family. I am the step mom. I love Jesus. Why wouldn't you address him as your step son instead of your husband's son? It creates such a distance as a family! Will you not able to love and accept him with the Love of Jesus Christ and with God's grace draw him to the Savior?

He’s carried me all these years!
But I do blame myself! Remember what Nathan the prophet said to king David? Thou Art the man! I knew it then and I know it now But I also know I am forgiven but it doesn’t change the devestating effects sin has on our families and friends Like David, look at the pain and suffering he and everyone effect by it!
People don't know that anger turned inward to ourselves is depression. That anger harms ourself. We also focus on forgiving others but not forgiving ourself.
Pastor JD, I have been searching all over for a trustworthy teaching, on what to do if you feel like you have grieved or quenched the Holy Spirit. In my past, I had a gambling problem and I know that I had, on several occasions and I mean several...as I was on my way to the casino, I heard in my spirit sooooo many times!!! Do not go, do not go, do not go!! But I still went. Every time...I went. Now, I feel like I can't hear the Holy Spirit as often or even as plainly as I used to hear Him. Please help me to understand what I need to do, to hear Him again...clearly and unmistakably. I have been spending more time listening and reading His Word, but I still feel a bit separated from Him. Please pray that God would rekindle the flame of His Holy Spirit within me!! Thank you and God bless you and your family and ministry!!
Speak to the Rock our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ... Means talk to Jesus about what happened, releasing your anger with forgiveness and ask for His Wisdom to deal with the issue via the Fruit of the Spirit !
He didn't answer my prayer of, "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their crotch, and may their arms be too short to scratch" either when I was mad at someone. Of course, we don't have camels in Oregon.......
I actually disagree with your definition of righteous versus unrighteous anger, Because it is all right to be righteously angry at evil and wrong doing whether it is against yourself or someone else. But we do have to forgive. Evil is evil. It is righteous to be angry at evil... Just know that God will work on your behalf 👍
