This is making me want to drive into the city just for a burrito. haha I like the way you framed these videos up too, showing off the beauty of the city behind you while you eat. Good stuff man.
"I can always speak for grubwitmike, I can't speak for everyone else" Preach bro! Been out to hit a few collabs you got da grubby way and trust you know your food! I trust your recommendations and can't wait to see what other joints get da grubby treatment!
I really enjoy ur video bro bro. The realness and authenticity is amazing. U remind me of my child hood friend who passed from covid. He's a Mexican version of you. Lol. Keep doing you. Ur on to something here. Must love and respec.
Mike i never with of in my mind to order a burrito mike style. Yea! I know i can order a Mike style burrito! Thanks Mike you do a excellent representation.
You sound dumb as hell. Mission born and raised over 30 years . We DONT DO RICE IN BURRITOS in the mission . Rice a filler . Beans is a yea, but pico a choice . Its a side item to get on any taqueria with the salsa .
lettuce, rice, beans, salsa, asada, SC and Guac. I used to live in Oak, and worked at Serramonte. When going home I used to get off BART in the mission and pick up my dinner from La Taqueria. Most of the time it would be a burrito, either asada, pollo, but most of the time I'd get a shrimp burrito. It was off the hook.
Hey, thanks for the video! I’ve got to say, I totally respect the way you order your burritos. I’m so cheap that I didn’t even think about skipping the beans and rice-I just assumed it was a burrito’s birthright. Here’s a lifetime of observation, Coming from Redwood City, I always thought Mission burritos were hoot, but maybe it’s just the way sf does there beans plus there seems to be some sort of apprehension to anything robust so I seem to just find weak or straight funky salsa in sf
Gotta say I was a little thrown off by all the stuff you don't want in a burrito. Felt like you was eating wraps. However, I enjoyed this upload, so I subbed. Eat it however you want to eat it. Bay Luv! Also saw you just visited Little Lucca's. That place is a Bay Classic. Stay up...Bang Bang!
I am going to try to order my burrito the way you do next time. It totally makes sense. I had a client who lives in SF tell me that the SF burrito game is broken up by steamed tortilla or grilled tortilla. Each style has its best burrito but it is 100% different based on how you like your tortilla.
hey there sir love the video!! had a question as I 100% agree with your thinking on holding the rice and beans on a burrito. so you get ith with avocado.cheese, sour cream ,cilantro, and onion. Now the onion is it raw diced onion or sauteed or grilled onions?
Farolito, and Cancun GO HARD, La Taqueria of course is comparable, damn its a battle between La && Farolito, OVERALL i think its No. 3 for #La taqueria yeah i said it, cause the others HAVE a better menu OVERALL platos, sandos etc, but they ingredients blend and scream out on there orders.... I Can't LIE ---zzler
You hit the pedestrian spots that everyone knows about (which is cool) but how bout the hidden gems for part 2?? 1. Poncho Villa 2. Papalote w/ orange sauce. 3. Papito fried chicken burrito 4. Al Carajo. 5. Mama Cholita. Keep it goin!!
Chuy’s Fiestas is the best taqueria in Frisco now. I love La Taqueria’s burritos with their guacamole tho. if you want somethin fancy, try La Vaca Birria. if you want amazing food from Oaxaca, it’s Donaji
Pancho Via; get the carne asada and hit that salsa bar up (go crazy! best salsa ever). El Castillito on Church has the best pastor in the city, shave it right off the spit. Gotta hit up those two. Both are classics.
Good reviews Mike but a mission burritos got to have beans and rice brother. Beans and rice can be as different as night and day depending on the taqueria. Also should have cheese and lettuce that's what's an old-school Mission burrito. And my first burrito 1973 El Faro's 20th and Folsom. Just my opinion which means nothing. Keep up the good work 👍
El castalito, mang! On church. Near safeway and muni. Park at the Safeway and cross the street. Careful, there’s a cocina taqueria on that strip too. That one is garbage 😂 Carnitas no beans all day. I’m gonna try your way tho next time. Keep it up yo!
There was a taqueria place my friends and I went to a long time ago in the Mission. I forgot the name of the place, but i had a burrito there, and it wasn't just massive but super MASSIVE.
El Farolito on 24th was The Spot after clubbing. I stopped going. Too much violence. I'm old enough now that I want to eat without having to spill blood.
I miss Casa Sanchez. Less than $4 for a regular burrito. It was the best regular Carne asada ever and they had a salsa fountain for your burro or chips. It closwd in 2012. I used to get one daily. Sometimes 2.😂
Bra taqueria San Jose across the street has the best Al pastor in sf They slice it off the rotisserie right in front out you Bomb flavor There pastor burrito is fire
It's hard in the bay or the central coast to find the best burrito..their are so many. What I found was find your best lol. Just don't eat tex mex in nor cal. It's forbidden.
My ranking of SF: 1. La Taqueria 2. Taqueria Guadalajara 3. Not sure - I feel like most of the other well known places are in this tier, but I'd maybe probably say Cancun (That being said, La Tapatia in South SF may even be my all time #1) Edit: Oh but one thing: It sounds like you're ranking best *CARNE ASADA* burritos in SF. that's a completely different thing, and the answer is pretty much just La Taq. That's the only place I'll eat carne asada.
@GRUBWITMIKE You gotta go get a regular burrito from Aliberto's in Berkeley or Vallejo. All meat SoCal style. Been trying to find a place like this in the bay forever and Aliberto's is it. Check them out!!!
Cancun makes a good burrito al pastor, decent pollo and carne asada. Guadelajara on Mission, in The Excelsior, makes a great burrito al pastor. When it comes to carne asada, I love Papalote and their roasted tomato salsa is beyond compare.
As a mission native…
no rice no beans on a mission burrito is craaaaaaazyyyyyy
Right… fat boy review… 🙂
This is making me want to drive into the city just for a burrito. haha
I like the way you framed these videos up too, showing off the beauty of the city behind you while you eat. Good stuff man.
Taqueria Gualadajara cracks, on Mission across from another El Farolito. Keep it up repping for the City!
There are so many good spots. My favorite. Don Chuys in the Excelsior.
"I can always speak for grubwitmike, I can't speak for everyone else"
Preach bro! Been out to hit a few collabs you got da grubby way and trust you know your food! I trust your recommendations and can't wait to see what other joints get da grubby treatment!
Bro got me craving a burrito at 2am lol tbh for me the best spot in SF is El Farolito keep up the content 🙌🏽 love watching your vids
2am sounds about right for burrito craving
el farolito is overrated , across the bay in Oak is where the best mexican food is at
I really enjoy ur video bro bro. The realness and authenticity is amazing. U remind me of my child hood friend who passed from covid. He's a Mexican version of you. Lol. Keep doing you. Ur on to something here. Must love and respec.
La Taqueria hands down! Been going to both, La Taqueria and Farolito since the 70s❤️😋🤙🏽
Since I was a baby.
Dope vid bro. Try Taqueria El Buen Sabor on Valencia St, my all time favorite burrito place
🌯🤤
La Taqueria is fire! Mike, you need to showcase Taqueria San Bruno. You won't be disappointed.
They are my number 1 (San Bruno). La Taqueria great meat quality but no rice kills it for me.
TSB is 🔥! They overcook the carne asada though.
I've had mexican food from the street corners of SJ, to SF. San Bruno taqueria is #1
@@CP-pb3pj yeah they dont put NO RICE @La Taqueria huh!!

@@Lockhartism
When I’m at La Taqueria, I always get the Super Carne Asada Tacos. 👌
Just found your Channel sick content appreciate the Vids props 💯
That’s how I order my burrito to no rice is the way, or just a little sometimes. Keep up the reviews 🔥
I feel I like the burritos are much smaller when you ask for no rice, am I wrong?
Mike i never with of in my mind to order a burrito mike style. Yea! I know i can order a Mike style burrito! Thanks Mike you do a excellent representation.
I got to try the all meat & shrimp at least once. I like trying something new. Frisco all the way!
Is that cost extra because you cut rice and beans?
La Taqueria is my favorite!
Always ordered Dorado style.
You’re basically ordering SoCal burritos. The rice, beans, pico, all the fillings is what makes it a Mission burrito a mission burrito.
You sound dumb as hell. Mission born and raised over 30 years . We DONT DO RICE IN BURRITOS in the mission . Rice a filler . Beans is a yea, but pico a choice . Its a side item to get on any taqueria with the salsa .
Wrong you fools in LA be putting French fries in yo burritos and you ain't even French
right? might as well add french fries
Dope video homie!
GrubWitMike is lit . This video finna blow up
No pico is crazy

Love the politeness to the establishment man. Keep it classy

Almost spat my water out when you requested no rice no beans and no pico de gallo LOL
Yaaaas!!! El Farolito! Their “Boss Baby” burrito is where it’s at tho!!! 💪🏼
good reviews of spots to hit up.
Good luck on this journey. I enjoy the videos on IG.
The shrimp with avocado, cilantro and onions, sour cream. Delishes green salsa on the side.
Farolito, and Cancun GO HARD, La Taqueria of course is comparable, damn its a battle between La && Farolito,

Hahaha my guy said can I get a super burrito and hold everything just tortilla 🤣🤣🤣 I miss el Farro
Try Dos Pinos on 16th and Rhode Island
I learned about it when I worked at the design center. It stacks up vey well to the great spots you discussed
Good shit bro!
Yeeeee! Bang Bang NINERGANG! Bout to smash Philly!

Straight Up Making Me Miss Being Back In The Bay Area

Bro you left the main ingredients out the rice and beans 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
El faralito yeee! But Pancho Villa is a must in SF!
Shout out to my dude , just pulled up on this spot and boy does it slap! Got the exact same thing you ordered x2 😂
Food doesn’t “slap”. lol
Yo good video. Just a heads up but there is a La Corneta in the Mission. Down the same block as El Farolito.
If you ever see a red taco truck in Sunnyvale called Linda's it's a must try. Super Asada w shrimp no beans with habanero is a must.
I need beans and rice... I like a balanced burrito
El castalito, mang! On church. Near safeway and muni. Park at the Safeway and cross the street. Careful, there’s a cocina taqueria on that strip too. That one is garbage 😂 Carnitas no beans all day. I’m gonna try your way tho next time. Keep it up yo!
Burrito Loco in West Portal at 850 Ulloa St. next time?
There was a taqueria place my friends and I went to a long time ago in the Mission. I forgot the name of the place, but i had a burrito there, and it wasn't just massive but super MASSIVE.
El Farolito on 24th was The Spot after clubbing. I stopped going. Too much violence. I'm old enough now that I want to eat without having to spill blood.
That how you order a burrito coming from a San Diego native. We don’t do beans or rice in a burrito down here
Dope vids bro. Found you on IG
Appreciate it!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
No beans and cheese and pico 🤔🤔🤔🧐🧐🧐😱😱😱. Where’s the salsa???
Picante in san rafael is another fire spot. Especially for al pastor
I have a question: Is it avocado or quacamole at these taquerias?
Farolito scoops avocado straight on. I think Cancun does, too. Looks like La Taqueria has a guac. Not sure about the last one.
There's a spot in North Beach by Green St. Cancun something. That tastes out of this world.
Let me make a cameo.....boutta try some birria bao tacos in Oahu next week
I miss Casa Sanchez. Less than $4 for a regular burrito. It was the best regular Carne asada ever and they had a salsa fountain for your burro or chips. It closwd in 2012. I used to get one daily. Sometimes 2.😂
That burrito looks good !!
Yes, the one on 24th and Mission is the best place to get a Burrito. Everyone I took there say they wanted to go back.
Gotta hit Gordos in the next vid! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man! I'm from Mission district born and raised here bro! I'm not Filipino American but I'm Mexican American!
Bra taqueria San Jose across the street has the best Al pastor in sf
They slice it off the rotisserie right in front out you
Bomb flavor
There pastor burrito is fire
No rice, no beans or pico?
Guacamole is😊 just 'green sauce"😢?
have to go to LaCumbre on 23rd and Clement in San Francisco!😑
You gotta go the Excelsior District and hit up Don Chuys
Hey man, still wondering if you need help with that Part 2. I'm down.
These videos really make me miss being in the bay
If anybody ever asked me if there’s such a thing as a San Francisco, or Bay accent, I would point them to this video.
Try Guadalajara taqueria next time
FACTS BEST BURRITO
Truth!! I live South of Market
Must be in California. Seven dollars for a taco and 23 for a burrito?😢
Ask your burritos crispy on the grill after they wrap it. Gives it good crunch.
I can’t wait to stop by there when I move back to San Francisco… that was the spot!!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤. #49ers going to the superbowl too 😊
Gordo's on Irving is fire 🔥
Been eating taqueria Cancun since 1994, but I don’t order burritos, i’m a enchiladas or quesadilla suiza guy. Always with carne asada.
Give Pancho Villa, Papalote, and Underdogs a try.
When an Asian homie says he knows the best burritos. 😂😂😂 bruh fo real.... that's like a Mexican saying he knows the best Filipino spot or Korean
That’s why this channel is called GRUBWITMIKE not grubwitboast 😂 I’m the one eating my food not you lol
That’s why this channel is called GRUBWITMIKE not grubwitboast 😂 I’m the one eating my food not you lol
FAROLITO 🎉
oh yea the video we need, updated version.
It's hard in the bay or the central coast to find the best burrito..their are so many. What I found was find your best lol. Just don't eat tex mex in nor cal. It's forbidden.
El farolito is also tops for me. Los coyotes on 16th and mission would be a strong contender.
I want you to start liking tomatoes.
There's an atm inside buddy
🔥🔥🔥🔥 video go crazy 💯
Hands down ..LA TAQUERIA
I'm trying to get in this food game, come out to Monterey, I got some food spots for you to check out!

Makes hungry. Here in Tucson,AZ. Can’t find any good places to eat Mexican food.
La Taqueria is the absolute tits 💯 I go there for their burritos 🌯 all day
My ranking of SF:
1. La Taqueria
2. Taqueria Guadalajara
3. Not sure - I feel like most of the other well known places are in this tier, but I'd maybe probably say Cancun
(That being said, La Tapatia in South SF may even be my all time #1)
Edit: Oh but one thing: It sounds like you're ranking best *CARNE ASADA* burritos in SF. that's a completely different thing, and the answer is pretty much just La Taq. That's the only place I'll eat carne asada.
El Farolito Is My Spot When I'm In S.F
@GRUBWITMIKE You gotta go get a regular burrito from Aliberto's in Berkeley or Vallejo. All meat SoCal style. Been trying to find a place like this in the bay forever and Aliberto's is it. Check them out!!!
Lime lowkey my fav "condiment"

BANGBANG!!!
Yea Guadalajara you gotta try. Idk why people think El Farolito is better!
