It´s a 404 as told but there had been a series of late 404s that used a 416 cab.. The 416 cab makes it easier to plant a diesel engine in. A 416 cab normaly houses the six cylinder diesel if it is a 4cyl diesel it´s a kind of 421 than and it finds enough space under the hood
The 404 with the 406 - 416 cab is called the 404.0. The 404.0 was made with the M130 engine ; 2.5 liter, dual carb. The 404.1 or aka S404 was made with the M180 engine ; 2.2 liter single carb. :-)
with the tractor tires the unimog drives through evey mud, as usual. how about the camper interior? did the camper interior (bed, little kitchen etc) come from factory or was it later made ?

No it's a 404.0 with a cab of a 406/416. The cab is factory fitted.

What material is your camper part made of? Is it mounted with the Unimog 3 point system to maintain articulation?
