Hello friends and welcome back to amazing Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand!
In this travel with children vlog in Thailand, we visit three of the popular temples in Chiang Rai.
We first start off at the White Temple where we walk the beautiful grounds and enjoy the quirkiness of the many sights. - Wat Rong Khun
Next, we go to the Black House which turns out to not be our favorite. Make sure to watch and see why. - Baan Dam
We then end at the Blue Temple which stuns and Ryder declares as kid-friendly. - Wat Rong Suea Ten
The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), Black House (Baan Dam), and Blue Temple (Wat Rong Sue Ten) in Chiang Rai make up an amazing day and are without a doubt some of the best things you can do in Chiang Rai.

This was an amazing day in Chiang Rai visiting the White Temple, Black House, and Blue Temple.
When you go to Chiang Rai tours are sold to go to these three temples. They are sold in an expensive package. While worth to go, you can save a lot by just taking an Uber individually to these three locations.
Our first Uber driver figured out our plan and we ended up just paying him directly based upon what we would have paid to Uber. This made him more money (he didn’t have to split with Uber) and saved us money because we didn’t buy an expensive tour package that was just transportation. Win, win!

You nailed it. White Temple and Blue Temple all day long. Black house…not for us. Lots of body parts which led to questions we were not looking for on a temple day!
Nice catch with the lady taking the secret pic. It was wild and happened a lot especially with the kids. Some would ask to take pics with the kids. We heard blonde hair is considered good luck and the kids were considered a “golden child”. Papa, paparazzi as Lady Gaga would say!
