Is there a certain hotglue and glue gun you recommend?
I often have the problem of it not holding, so it's probably not good enough quality, but I don't know what to get instead 😣
Maybe you should try thinner pieces of hair
That's actually such a great question, thanks for asking! I went ahead and added a link in the description to the one I use!
The problem might be, although all glue guns get hot they aren't all high temp. And the high temp actually helps slightly melt the synthetic wig fibers and merge with them. I also prefer on one with a pricision tip! I hope that helps!
Sometimes it happens to me, it happens to me that I have to let my glue gun get very hot, the silicone must be very hot

Honestly I love how you did it. I feel so many people forget that wigs are objects and not real. Use whatever you have to go hold the style. As a drag queen I feel so many people thing there's only the way that people style regular hair. Whenever I would do big hair I would literally melt the hair with hairy spray and a blow dryer so it never looses it's shape and even use floor polish on it for shine.

i wanted to say that you can also buy silicone fingertips which work really well for hot glue!!! i think they’re meant to be used as thimbles but if you get smooth ones they’re great for smoothing down glue because they’re non stick and keep your fingers safe from the heat!

Quick question, how do you keep it clean?
I can't wear my wigs more than 3x without washing it 😅
I treat it like I would my foam armor. Obviously can't submerge in water, but can gently spot clean. And I disinfect the inside with Alchol spary after every use. You could probably do that to the outside too if you want! Plus anything that gets messed up in the cleaning process can always be re-done!
