It's going to have to be a process for Rick to come back to who HE is but it's Michonne that will help him get there. Such amazing character development and epic performances!
After Michonne making both of them jump off the helicopter, Rick has to know now no matter what he says to Michonne to get her to leave, she ain't never leaving with out him😂
I think you're on the right track, there'll be a back and forth on Rick's drive to escape and trying to get Michonne to leave by herself, but once that reveal pops out I think they'll be on the same page.

A few observations: 1. Alexandria IMO will never be safe with things the way they are with the CRM. This is the same group that Chlorine gassed Michonne and Nat bc they were close to Philadelphia. What stops them from happening upon Alexandria and taking them out or happening upon one of their people. Everyone Rick loves is an A, even Judith. Things have to be changed at the top for them to ever be safe. Stay or leave Alexandria is in danger. The summit is key. 2. Michonne is operating exactly like Rick did initially. She has bits and pieces from Rick but she's also been through A LOT to get to him! She has never been the submissive. She chased after the Governor ALONE. People have forgotten who she is. Michonne convinced Rick to go to Alexandria to fight the Saviors when he gave up after Glenn's death. Michonne does not play nice. Never has. She feels so threatened by Michonne that if Rick could actually get Michonne on that boat she would try to hunt her to the ends of the earth. Just the fact that she was the first to escape and on her watch would send Thorne in a tail spin. 4. They honestly should have been “happened” upon Alexandria . They visited Jadis often and they were already on the area to meet Jadis when the bridge incident happened…wild that the helicopter wouldn’t have ever ever seen just one of the communities just from being in the general area

I have been gloating all over Social Media about this....... Thorne who was on the same level as Rick has now been promoted to Commander. Because the explosions used to distract the walkers was not working Thorne was given her first mission. Her job was too take soldiers and a clean up grew along with a RDIM filled with explosives to manually distract the hordes of walkers. The plan was to get rid of the walkers close by, which Thorne, Rick and the other soldiers would do. Then Thorne was to push the RDIM 100 yards. Set off the signal that would draw the walkers. Once they were in range, they would be blown up. Michonne/Dana who had moved up the consignee ranks would do the clean up. Dana seeing they were going to be over run, moved forward to help, but Thorne sternly told her to do the job she was assigned to do. Thorne then tried to move the RDIM, but could not, so returned to dealing with the walkers, Michonne went over to the RDIM raised it and pushed it towards the 100 yard spot, Rick joined her and they pushed it together. Once there they set off the signal and hid behind a tree (yes we all know what happened) They did rejoin the others and got rid of the remaining walkers. But, Thorne was not happy and here is why. Not only did she see Rick and Michonne come together as a team, hence her trying to shoot Michonne.. It meant that the success of the mission was due first to Michonne and then to Richonne. Thorne herself had failed.... So she went on a rant about them breaking protocol. And not wanting to see Michonne/Dana again.
@@monkeydluffy7735 I believe that Pearl Thorne is really a B. She was attached to Okafor because he gave her direction. Now that he is dead, she is kind of lost. I think that Rick and Michonnes best play is to attack the summit that will be happening. Okafor said that once they build the new crm task force location that Rick and Pearl spent that year constructing all major CRM leaders will attend the opening summit there. I think that’s their best option at a “clean escape” is to bomb that meeting. Plus most people miss it but in episode one in the park with Esteban the citizens of the CRM are beginning to protest with signs against the CRM restrictions that could be impactful too.
Anyone else notice the similarities between Thorne aiming her gun at michonne and Shane aiming his gun at Rick in S1 & s2 of TWD. I think Thorne has a committed into the crm cause I do however feel like she has feelings for Rick.
Season finale do a classic reject nation intro. Greg is trying to finish the edit and Michael is cheering him on while John is the walker (sleep walker) and is trying to get into the studio to edit videos he has to work on. 🧟♂
Michonne was like damn that I'm taking him with me before he sinks further into the madness. Such a great episode. Especially seeing everything from both perspective's
So, to clarify, the end of world beyond season 2, the scientists had fled the facility with their research, but wanted to build things back up separate from the military, and that was sort of the situation with Jadis and having to Save Mason Beale from the WB crew we were following. I’m not quite sure what has taken place between that point and Jadis arriving back in Philly though. Also, the science and research they were on the precipice of Waz actually the opposite of how you remember it was groundbreaking because they had found a way to exponentially increase the speed of decomposition, which I believe they wanted to try to figure out a way to implement on a large scale so that we could wipe out the majority of all CURRENT Walkers across the US. Obviously, that would not prevent people from turning into them when they died, but I don’t think they will ever implement a cure per se. I do think the concept of speeding up decomp is fascinating! Highly anticipating the convergence between the other two current spinoffs taking place because on the one hand, you have the variant walkers overseas, and also starting to make their way in the states, while you also have Walkers being used to create fuel in Manhattan, and potentially that also taking place within the CRM so maybe there have already been some connections made there 🤔
The Submarine “Dead in the Water” is not Tales 😂. Tales was really not great 😬. Tales has POTENTIAL to be good. BUT, they really need to focus on stories that are either done better or they are with characters we actually care about. Ex. - formation of: - Kingdom - hilltop - Saviors - Alexandria - Comminwealth - Abe, Eugene & Rosita’s journey until they met Glenn - Ty & Sasha before the prison BUT they just did a bunch of stories that no one really connected with except the Alpha backstory & the “PPP” card that was left with Tara when Heath was taken (supposedly by Jadis?)
I think it’s a misdirect. She could be just narrating in the present to keep herself grounded and pretending she’s talking to people like she was doing over the walkies.
I’m late but I was hoping you all remembered that he threw his boots the sketched phone etc onto that boat during an escape attempt right before he was recaptured.
Jumping out of the helicopter was probably a bad move on Michonne's part. Jadis knows where they live and who their friends and family are. And now that they've escaped from CRM, the CRM might come looking for them back in Virginia.
You should give FTWD another chance. I stopped after Season 1 when it was running but came back to binge the whole series. One of the highlights for me was John Glover’s character in a later season.
I've never watched any of the walking dead before and i'm still loving this show. I know a lot of similar middle moments. It's not hitting me as hard as they should, because I haven't seen a Walking Dead. But they still have an impact.
God Jadis is such a menace in this show. They have perfected the writing for her character in this show, and the true potential of Jadis as a character has been captured. The only character to emasculate both Negan and Rick. I have a love/hate relationship with Jadis in this show, but I hope Rick brings her down. Also, Danai!!!!!! That last shot?!? Dammmm girl
I believe that the meet cute where Rick brought pizza, wasn't a dream. It was the future. It was Rick and Dana finally getting to a place where they could pretend to start liking each other and dating. I'm curious if we'll catch up to that timeline in this season.
Michonne swinging that weapon like a sword was reckless ASF...it's like she knows she's the main character or sum lol... Would've been different if she didn't kill the soldiers with a sword
@jaysax7381 Man I sure hope not, but if Gumple is the show runner of the last episode you know anything stupid is possible! I say gumple instead of gimple bc he made some very stupid forest Gump moves in the walking dead committing series suicide time and time again by nkilling off the main characters on the show and losing viewers of the show in the process including me.
@jonathanpowell7256 I'm thinking it's a journal she has after they escape the crm maybe. It doesn't make sense to me for her to write in a journal after Rick explained they needed to get rid of everything that could lead to alexandria.
For me and I hope I don't fail in this. But Rick, whoever sees himself, regains that character boost through his own emotions. That literally makes me fall. How to come back one more time... became Shane's vibe!
The way I took that ending scene, Michonne pulled Rick away from the CRM and pulled him back down to earth ….. (literally), a helicopter stole Rick from her and their family, this was Michonne stealing Rick back from the CRM …and the jumping out of the helicopter was to give us an episode of dialogue of Rick and Michonne …. They will turn themselves in only to burn it all down on the finale, Dangers lighter is most def coming to play
I am honestly grateful the show is back and hot as ever. But I really want more than 6 episodes with this duo. I'm not ready for the vacuum after episodes 6 over. 😢
I wish they´d concentrate more in the zombies coz all twd was about fighting humanity and Zombies in a second level, I mean this is an apocalypses, and the real threat are the Zombies and i wish something like this happens: Like a new spread of the plague that transforms walkers in runners like world war z, where existential humanity is in danger of extinction and the CRM is preparing to confront them and all of that is coming from Asia or something, they said that the high leaders know everything, they have the full picture of everything and why they do what they do, so I'm intrigue in that aspect.
Now that we know Michael knows a quite a bit about Fallout, why not watch the show with him? Sure you can get one of the girls, but Michael actually has knowledge of the Fallout universe. Let Michael take the ride, he's a cool guy.
I totally bought into the evolution of TWD. But I do still think it worked best when it was more personal, so I see what you’re saying. However I think they still did a phenomenal job.
i hope thorne doesnt die and i feel like she's not gonna die and be actually a part of rick family now too because they been consignee together and had each other back for 6 years and i think she cares for rick now too and just wants the best for him
So glad you mentioned Jericho! Lennie James was amazing on that show. I actually liked his character on Jericho even more than Morgan. But I am not as attached to the Morgan and Rick pairing as others. I love Rick with Michonne and Rick with Daryl more. JMO
For ppl saying "this isn't my Rick" I get it BUT we have to remember we have seen Rick broken before we've also seen dictator Rick after the Herschel family farm burnt down. The worst was when Negan broke him and broke him hard! That was hard to watch. This isn't as bad, to me, as when he went through dealing with Negan after Glenn and Abraham were killed. We haven't seen a broken Machonne. Yes, when she joined Rick's group we learn a bit of her past and see her with her walkers, but she never came across as defeated to the point of giving up/surrendering. We have with Rick. So like before, it will take time for Rick to return to Ricktator mode, and I am enjoying seeing the process. He doesn't have hope and he's afraid of having hope and he doesn't want Machonne giving him hope bc of what the outcome could be, more so for her than himself. Now how Rick and Machonne will overthrow this regime will be interesting. I think it will be getting rid of all the leaders of the CRM but how, I don't know. If they had our old crew, Daryl, Morgan, Carol, etc even some of the ppl from Fear TWD then I don't think I'd be too worried but with just the two of them? Unless they can get others to join up with them, etc. It will be interesting to see.
As a comic book reader…What if they’re doing the end of the commonwealth story but using the CRM. So theres Rick and Dwight but Michonne is taking Dwights place…🧐🫣🤯
I know how Rick and Michonne could permanently stop the CRM they could launch nukes on them oh yeah and when i first seen this episode i thought that at the end the Helicopter was going to get taken down by the storm but nope that ended up not happening at all instead Michonne decided to dive out of the Helicopter with Rick wow
This episode was intense. I think Thorn (the new commander) whom claims Rick is her family has to go. I think in episode 2 she actually said something along the lines that Okafor didn't get it all right. I think she is leaning a little more to the CRMs agenda. Rick took out his best friend. If she points another gun at the wrong person he'll take her out too.
It makes sense why Rick is acting this way, where if he does one wrong thing, Jadis will destroy his entire way of life, murder his children and Michonne, so what other choice does he currently have?
This show has done such great world-building that weirdly enough I find myself siding with Rick and seeing Michonne as very naive. Rick knows what's up. He's alive only because of Okafor. He knows the power of the CRM and there seems to be no way he could keep everyone he loves safe if they try to escape. On the bright side he could've had the power to eventually change the CRM for the better. I was really excited to hear the briefing that would come with the promotion, but I guess that's out of the window... Man, this show is brilliant
Because of the stubbornness and inability for michonne to be patient and see the BIG picture and escaping. I believe that jadis will tell beal her and ricks secret and Beal will kill everyone at Alexandria, oceanside, the kingdom, and hilltop. Beal will have his men shoot the gas, use explosives or via ground invasion. Survivors will flee to the commonwealth. And what’s worse I think he will do it with Rick and michonne recaptured and watching on a screen. I also think Beal will either kill jadis or Thorne because of them lying to him about Rick and michonne. This will seal Beal a a very real villain and set up a second season.

Plus most people miss it but in episode one in the park with Esteban the citizens of the CRM are beginning to protest with signs against the CRM restrictions that could be impactful too.
Michonne is using Nat’s book to write letters to Judith. Same way Rick was writing letters to Michonne.
Michonne MVP of this episode
Consistently blown away by the storytelling. This show is incredible! I do wish we know how much time passed in this episode though.
Sista girl came up out of Michonne and said "NOT TODAY SIR!" 👏🏾
Maybe we will get a season 2 later on
@@whofactchecksthefactcheckers I really hope so! But only if it's of this caliber WITH our faves of who's left from the TWD.
@rhiannasanford6160 I wanna atleast see Daryl and the kids reunited with rick
@@whofactchecksthefactcheckers This is A MUST! 👏🏾
I’d never thought I’d see Michonne and Rick on the Broad street line. lol.
Anyone else notice the similarities between Thorne aiming her gun at michonne and Shane aiming his gun at Rick in S1 & s2 of TWD. I think Thorne has a committed into the crm cause I do however feel like she has feelings for Rick.
I have never seen one episode of "THE WALKING DEAD" or the spin offs. I still haven't but I love Michonne and Rick,
Should check out the walking dead it's good
How r u watching this not knowing the emotions we r feeling😂
@@kayla-xd7hi it's ok they might start. Never know
@@kayla-xd7hi I don't watch show. I just see gif of them and sometime watch clips of the pair.
@@Ronariverah honestly real
Its all fun and games until Rick gets the "Echelon Briefing". Once that man knows EVERYTHING, he aint going nowhere. He's gonna see the big picture.
Loving this show so much
Great Reaction Greg and Michael! The show is good and the cliffhanger was crazy! 👍🧟♂️
Highly anticipating the convergence between the other two current spinoffs taking place because on the one hand, you have the variant walkers overseas, and also starting to make their way in the states, while you also have Walkers being used to create fuel in Manhattan, and potentially that also taking place within the CRM so maybe there have already been some connections made there 🤔
My favorite reactors to this show. It’s so good. The best show in years!
Jadis is deliciously evil 😈
She is not evil at all. She is pragmatic.
we are 3 for 3
Agreed! 👏🏾
The Submarine “Dead in the Water” is not Tales 😂. Tales was really not great 😬.
Tales has POTENTIAL to be good. BUT, they really need to focus on stories that are either done better or they are with characters we actually care about.
Ex.
- formation of:
- Kingdom
- hilltop
- Saviors
- Alexandria
- Comminwealth
- Abe, Eugene & Rosita’s journey until they met Glenn
- Ty & Sasha before the prison
BUT they just did a bunch of stories that no one really connected with except the Alpha backstory & the “PPP” card that was left with Tara when Heath was taken (supposedly by Jadis?)
Editor Greg was so salty about the bullet in the Neck. 😭
I'm nervous about the way Michonne is Narrating at times from the future telling the story of "the brave man" like hes no longer around...
Me too...
I think it’s a misdirect. She could be just narrating in the present to keep herself grounded and pretending she’s talking to people like she was doing over the walkies.
Him not being around would correspond with Andy saying Rick dies at the end of this so I think you’re right to be nervous. I’m sad about it.
I don't think they make it back... or that the ppl in Alexandria are there anymore..
Shes doing what shane did to rick aiming the gun at rick in the woods but not killing him
"Rick...he had every reason not too.....RICK!!!! I'm tellin ya, he gunned that kid down" - Herschel
Michonne swinging that weapon like a sword was reckless ASF...it's like she knows she's the main character or sum lol... Would've been different if she didn't kill the soldiers with a sword
I want to see jadis michonne interaction now..she sees her there and she went missing same time rick did..putting two and two together
God when you said 1,000 Riche that really hit home for me.
What a call back to Shannon eyeing down Rick. Thorne was ready to kill michonne
Jades is lieing to Rick about having info where Alexandria in her files so he won't kill her. She still wants to lay with him.😊
But Rick doesn't want to😊
She definitely has the info lol, and she still wants to bang him 😂
Can we just take a moment to appreciate our boy Ryan's fitness journey. Looking good king.🤘💪
The way she's narrating this. IS Rick going to die at the end. She's talking like she's talking to RJ back at home and Rick is not with her.
At this point, Rick isn't really with her.
I think it’s a misdirect / symbolic. Killing Rick at the end of this would be a crazy decision that I just don’t see happening
@@jannaspringer4258I call him simple Gimple.
Yep because Andy said the 92NY panel interview that Rick dies at the end of this.
I think Michonne is writing to the kids in the Journal that Nat gave her.😊
Rick took her journal in episode 2.
@@Quania2004 She must have got another one.
@jonathanpowell7256 I'm thinking it's a journal she has after they escape the crm maybe. It doesn't make sense to me for her to write in a journal after Rick explained they needed to get rid of everything that could lead to alexandria.
Omg I just realized one of the characters in here are also in resident alien. You guys should react to that it’s so funny and so good. 10/10
For me and I hope I don't fail in this. But Rick, whoever sees himself, regains that character boost through his own emotions. That literally makes me fall. How to come back one more time... became Shane's vibe!
Loving the new episodes.
She is calling the walkers (dults)
Delts
@@CHRONICLEKAIyeah short for “delta” which mean a change in something. Kinda calling walkers changed ones
@@CHRONICLEKAI yep!
FTWD seasons 1-6 are fantastic. Seasons 7 and 8 are really rough but worth watching to see the story end and the connection with Morgan.
Correction: FTWD seasons 1-3 were fantastic. Season 4 was the beginning of the decline.
I am honestly grateful the show is back and hot as ever. But I really want more than 6 episodes with this duo. I'm not ready for the vacuum after episodes 6 over. 😢
Do you think the CRM might have a cure?
seems possible but doubt it given I don't think they wanted to go into that direction.
Guys, 😂 the virus came from OUTER SPACE, I highly doubt HUMANS will be able to make a cure for it.
@@juliandorzon have you not watched Daryl Dixon

Now that we know Michael knows a quite a bit about Fallout, why not watch the show with him? Sure you can get one of the girls, but Michael actually has knowledge of the Fallout universe.
Let Michael take the ride, he's a cool guy.
Thank you for your trust
I totally bought into the evolution of TWD. But I do still think it worked best when it was more personal, so I see what you’re saying. However I think they still did a phenomenal job.
10/10 show so far. Cant think of a single complaint, they've really thought out everything
i hope thorne doesnt die and i feel like she's not gonna die and be actually a part of rick family now too because they been consignee together and had each other back for 6 years and i think she cares for rick now too and just wants the best for him
So glad you mentioned Jericho! Lennie James was amazing on that show. I actually liked his character on Jericho even more than Morgan.
But I am not as attached to the Morgan and Rick pairing as others. I love Rick with Michonne and Rick with Daryl more. JMO
This show is so ridiculously good! And it looks like we might be getting a second season!
We won't. Andy along with his wife only agreed to 1 season. If we get 2 seasons, Rick won't be in it.
@@livingbyfaith1 I dunno. Gimple mentioned a few days ago it’s possible.
@@SanctumGamingNetworkfingers crossed
Hershel sounds like this.
Great esp
As a comic book reader…What if they’re doing the end of the commonwealth story but using the CRM. So theres Rick and Dwight but Michonne is taking Dwights place…🧐🫣🤯
My brain is not prepared for this
I know how Rick and Michonne could permanently stop the CRM they could launch nukes on them oh yeah and when i first seen this episode i thought that at the end the Helicopter was going to get taken down by the storm but nope that ended up not happening at all instead Michonne decided to dive out of the Helicopter with Rick wow
He loses another arm 😂😂😂
What if by the time they get back Judith is a young adult
That'll be OK...if u watch Outlander, this happened there
Please do a reaction to the movie Storks. There are like 2 people who have done it, and I promise it's hilarious! It has Andy Sandburg for the love...
A's and B's. Examination Day. The Twilight Zone. Can't be smarter than us.....❤
This episode was intense.
It makes sense why Rick is acting this way, where if he does one wrong thing, Jadis will destroy his entire way of life, murder his children and Michonne, so what other choice does he currently have?
ill honestly be more surprised n more sad if michonne dies than rick
Andy said Rick dies, not Michonne

@@KRLoki2867Rick didn’t die! He was joking. That’s how Andy is! I never thought he was serious!
Is it bad I get a little bit of last of us vibes from this series? The music, the people , the atmosphere it’s just so beautiful
I can’t tell if Thorne is in love with Rick or her power trip is really that intense
😂😂😂😂😂
Wait is that John Locke?
