Vivekanand College, Kolhapur ( Empowered Autonomous )

Vivekanand College, Kolhapur (Empowered Autonomous) is one of the major educational centres of Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha. It was established in 1964 with the motto of imparting quality education to the unprivileged and the downtrodden. The college has been disseminating education by offering variety of courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Computer Science, Library Science, and Vocational courses. We have been maintaining excellent academic records along with outstanding achievements in co-curricular and extension activities. Consequently, our college is one of the leading colleges in Maharashtra. The college is accredited with ‘A’ grade in the third Cycle by NAAC with CGPA 3.24. In 2018, UGC conferred the ‘Autonomous Status’ to the college based on its overall academic performance. The college was conferred ‘Empowered Autonomous Status’ in June 2023 by UGC for successful implementation of autonomy for the last 5 years.

उत्तम परंतु प्रशासकीय कर्मचारी यांचा कुठेही उल्लेख आलेला नाही. महाविद्यालयाच्या जडण घडणीत खारीचा का होईना प्रशासकीय सेवकांचा सहभाग असतो. असे मला वाटते .
