Sometimes people are alone not by choice, but by circumstances. Once you find people you connect with, suddenly it isn't as exhausting.

I think that normal introverts needs a pause from interactions even if they like it, like a physiological needs, even if they don't like being alone.

Holy shit, I went through exactly this. Social anxiety can make you think you're introverted when you're actually not. Then the more you interact with people, the more you realize you don't actually like being alone as much as you thought.

I could relate to that feeling on loneliness
As someone struggle with multiple episodes of depression for many years, mental numbness is a condition that I have accepted as everyday occurrence
The default state of everything in life which I would return to~ being happy makes me afraid of the times where I might be not-happy
and it is really a scary loopback mental mechanism that must be stopped before spiraling out of control
instead of questioning "Is it okay to be this happy?" you really have to turn it into "It's okay to be happy, you deserves it"
it is a selfish words and attitude, but I believe that happiness is the responsibility of each own individual, and not someone else

There's this big misconception about introvert/extrovertness. The only difference between the two is how you recharge your social battery. Do you feel tired more hanging out with people? or Do you feel tired more without people around you?
No it's not. There are a lot of differences and it's very important not to dismiss them.
I hate it when people coined the term "ambivert". It's simply extroverts thinking it's edgy to be introverts sometimes. Yes, extroverts can be introverts but it's very unlikely the other way around.
It's simply not feeling tired, there's social anxiety and paranoia that is prevalent on introverts that many extroverts have difficulties understanding.
The only time I've been really comfortable and safe going out is when I'm with fellow introverts.
Do take in mind that this is translated. Meaning, while the clipper used the word "introvert" that doesn't mean it's exactly the same thing as how we understand the word. Taking it literally, inkya in JP writing is 陰(in) キャ(kya), meaning "yin kyarakutaa" or "yin (as in yin and yang) character."
Yin is the negative, the shadow. Yang is the positive, the light. Basically that means inkya are the quiet, negative thinker, frankly gloomy types. Instead of using all those words, most translators just say "introvert" instead, and it does the job well.
@@Koronesuki1313 you feel tired because of the anxiety and paranoia. If you are worried about something constantly you will get tired. However if you are genuinely comfortable with some people you'll not be as anxious when you would be with them and thus less tired.

Man, that last bit is so relateable. As an eternal loner I'm kind of scared of losing this derpy introvert. I find it hard to relate to Pekora these days, for the same reason truthily. But I know I'm just a monster - and I only want happiness for the girls.

Also, Monogatari Series are good anime so do consider watching it. Timeline is jumbled up though so you can either look it up and watch it based on the proper timeline or follow the release date and figure it up yourself (I find the latter more fun lmao).

I fully believe that humans are social creatures. There's a reason why hunter gatherers and nomadic tribes moves in herds and packs. Being alone lowers your chance of survival by a lot. Having a close knit group of people who are there to support you albeit friends, families, or even a lover is a necessity. Happy to hear Aqua is opening up to people and found happiness in Hololive.

why are japanese people so emotionally intelligent? is it because of their social settings? or is it because my social settings make me think so?
concepts like these are so foreign to people in my nation, and japanese people keep on making me feel impress by their capability.
While the west's idea of socialization vs lonerism is rather scientific, (introvert vs extrovert) the east's idea is more philosophical. (yin vs yang) Maybe that's why.

This is only true if the people surrounding you are genuine and good at heart, otherwise being alone is better. Also, being alone is not always lonely and sad.
I think it all changed after the guess game collab she had with all the others. She kept ironically getting it wrong just cause she aqua but when she said she never wanted it to end.... i think it made everyone finally realized she was lonely and wanted to hang out more. After that.....collabs cause everyone wanted to hang out. Just like the younger Holomems wanted to play more with Sora and treat her the same. Which is awesome to see. Aqua has grown so much in both her piano playing and personality.
Well at least one of the Gen 2 introverts started interaction with her Vtuber buddies.
Aqua by far has the best character development I’ve ever seen in Hololive, from a silent introvert who cried when Matsuri hugged and kissed her, to a person that loves to be around with her friends without any hesitation anymore.
