Those things work very good, they are very widespread here in Germany.

ALT Foams are pretty popular here in Germany. They are made here by a small company and you can get them perfectly fitting for every tire, vehicle weight and tire sizes. Those Foams are also waterproof and avaialble in different degrees of hardness. I use them in most of my vehicles and I love them!

I’d like to see you do a comparison. Proline Dual Stage vs 3Brothers RC vs Alt Foams.

I highly recommend these. I have tried numerous foams with some good and some not so good results. I have the ALT super soft foams in 1.9 Pit Bull Rock Beast XL's. They are without a doubt the best foams I have ever used. They are as this video describes. The stock Pit Bull foams that came with them were really horrible in my modified Axial SCXII (aprox. weight just under 6 pounds). Lil'Nova's were just ok. Proline 2 stage, just ok. Proline single stage , Crazy Crawler's, etc. Just ok. These are in my opinion the best I have found. Installed as directed with perforated to the inside excellant tire conformity to any obstacle without any outer roll. Outstanding on mossy fieldstone which I have alot of in my region. Dry rock, like glue. We need a US distributor. I ordered these from Germany and the shipping was as much as the foams and took over three weeks to get them. It was worth it. I will put these in my 1.9 Hyrax's and 1.9 RC4WD Interco IROC's with no doubt great results. Someone sell these in the U.S.

Going to make this change. Somehow I lumped Lil'Novas in this. They are great foams. I have them in my RC4WD Interco's and they work really well.

Great idea and design. You should become a sales rep for them here state side, like you are with vitivon. I would pick up quite a few sets from you EXO!!!🤘🤘🤘

you have to add that all A.L.T foams are waterproof. Nice to see that the foams also work well when the foam is 5mm narrower than it should be on the tire. :-)

That was really nice, I appreciate you adding something for us over here, too!
I need to get something nice for my Gatekeeper for next year, this might be it.
Your videos are really educational, I really feel I learn a lot watching them.

Innovative idea. They seem to work pretty well, and perform as designed.

As always a great product review, nobody puts new stuff through their paces like you are able too. I think I might need to try and grab a set of these, they look pretty good.

I was tuning Crawler Innovation solid foams 6+ years ago very similar to these using different size nails in a soldering gun to pock the holes and drill bit to clean them up.
It's a very good foam set-up , I've tuned my versions to easily performas as good(if not better) as any 2-stage foams....still....I think the new 3D printed tire inserts will be the new thing....I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I’m living hat hair bun life!!!! Work as good as proline dual stage at 1/4 the price and not effected by water!

Using this foams quite a while and love them. Also excellent for rather heavy rigs. But what I like the most is that also small diameters are available. So there is no need to use oversized tires on my class 1 scalers.

I have a patent for a set that goes into tires. Makes any crawler better. Just wondering if you would do a spotlight video on the product?

  • @brianargo1659

I think they can change to way the foams conform by the deferent depths they drill the conforming holes. Lol . I hope I explained that right. Cool video👍

  • @heady2008

I forsee a face off between these and the Anti foams on the same rig and tyres :-). I'll stick to my hairbuns but might experiment with a circle of EPP foam (packing, pool noodle etc) inserted inside on the outside inner face of the tyre

You can use the search function to find the tire you're using and the corresponding A.L.T. foams will be linked in the tires description.

Still nothing 130mm or so for 1.9 boggers

I've already got the tire. But I have 10 other tires here for which I have to construct foams. That kind of thing takes time

Nah, 40 Euros for 4 pieces is ridiculous. Hairbun donuts for 5 Euros and never have to worry about these things again.
