Ooh that Dark Knight shotgun 4:43, pretty sure the Joker steals that shotgun from the bank robbery scene at the beginning and you see him with it later when they crash the fancy fundraiser thing.
You dont need to like the work of Seth MacFarlane but Ted is a good movie and Family Guy a good TV Series. I hoped they would at least appreciate the Prop and you seen Ken did Appreciate it Larry didnt at all. Sad to see since it still is Movie and not every movie might be Art but its an Art to do a movie
They're making Hue 1968? Is it an adaptation of the Mark Bowden book? Not sure that it'll come out well, but I loved the book and Bowden deserves the money.
Marcus Garvey first off you guys need to take this BS to another channel or just knock it off period. Secondly I’m not sure where your statistics are coming from but you are way way off. As of 2019 globally the population is 63.7% white. In the US the population is 72% white so yeah you may dream whites are under 15% but you are way wrong and based on your comment you are a racist yourself. I know the libtard media makes sheep believe you aren’t racist for hating white people but crack the dictionary and look up the definition of racist and racism.
The Winchester M1907 did have a 25 round magazine as seen in pictures of those the French purchased in WW1. Additionally, a law enforcement supply company out of St. Joseph, Missouri also made some 25 round magazines. They are somewhat rare, and the long, single column of magazine likely had reliability issues, hence not very popular in that era.
Thanks for going into detail about the blanks! Very interesting. So older movies like aliens, die hard and the Terminator used full power blanks? Or did they also use CGI for muzzle flash?
I wonder if Carl thinks that suppliers like this might have any leverage in helping to push gun policy in CA. If all the suppliers for props like this got together (wouldn’t work if they’re not all in on it and gun guys) and just said “we’re not going to be involved in any films or shows until X changes”.
I don’t think that’s a realistic expectation, given that they’d go out of business if they did that; it would be about as effective as those monks who set themselves on fire. There is a lobbying group called the American Entertainment Armorers’ Association (and I believe at one time, ISS chaired it) to campaign against legislation in California, but their primary concern is laws affecting their ability to conduct their business. However, there have been instances in the past where the movie armorers have boycotted blatantly anti-gun productions, but this is not the same thing as boycotting Hollywood writ large.
The rifle from Shooter was never used in the movie. It started as a black version of one of the “4 Kings” chambered in .338LM. Bob Lee ended up with the rifle from his old sniper instructor and it was put in snow camo to kill the man who killed his wife at the end of the series. Never used on the movie with Marky Mark at all tho, he used a Cheytac
That would present an interesting issue With heavy counterweight blowback designs And the necessary pressure to make them operate The blank load would have to compensate for this Unless you went through the hassle of changing spring tension , but action response would be affected. Interesting stuff
That Colt 933 with the Yankee Hill rail from “Triple Frontier” (in Part 2 of this series) was used in “The Unit.” More than likely, some of the other guns in this series were in “The Unit” episodes, too.
Some of the build info the prop guy is talking about seems questionable... For instance, what was so tough to find re: the rail system on the FBI mock-up... It's a Geissele MK4 9.5" M-LOK rail available on their site for $212.50... is it the color that was tough to find, b/c they are available in two colors? Does Cali limit internet searches too cus I found it immediately... If it is the OD color I would think these guys are able to cerekote and screen print markings easily....
Disagree; Karl (the “prop guy”) actually knows his stuff. The “Federal” version of the Geissele MK4 is not the same one that you can currently buy on their web site. The main difference is that the Federal version has a shorter section of Pic rail on the 6:00 position, and it’s also a different shade of OD Green. The Federal MK4 rail was not widely released to the public, and I have seen them go for very high prices on ARFCOM, because all of the cloners want them. Here’s a link showing the difference: www.reddit.com/r/ar15/comments/f0z0jz/geissele_mk4_federal_odg_rails_new_top_vs_old/
Yeah, there is no flash. Guns with plugged barrels are typically only used in specific scenes. The rest of the time regular weapons that give off a real flash are used. Although depending on the film, sometimes fake flashes are added to barrel plugged guns in post. John Wick does this a lot, as they have to used barrel plugged weapons due to the close quarter fight scenes.
Those weren’t provided by ISS; they were provided by Stembridge, back when that company still existed. Stembridge went under and liquidated its assets in 1999, so I’m pretty sure that the Predator guns have since been sold off (other than the Minigun, which I believe was sold to Cinema Weaponry).
Depends on what you’re talking about. If you’re referring to the “solid plug” blank adapter, then there is no muzzle flash at all (it gets added in post). If you’re referring to the standard BFAs for full load, half-load, and quarter-load blanks, those actually have a hole in the center, and that’s how those blanks produce the muzzle flashes you often see in films.
Larry I have a great rifle build for you that was shown to me by a Vietnam Vet. He built an M16A1 style rifle with a heavy stainless barrel and a 1/8 twist. Light rifle for carry but capable barrel and accurate. Looks amazing as well.
Larry-maybe you have already and I missed it, but would you be willing to do a video about all the support folks that make it possible for shooters? I was a shooter, but I’ve always felt the support folks haven’t gotten the credit they deserve... just an idea brother.
Came for the guns, stayed for Ted.
Larry didn't seem too thrilled with Ted.
He though he'd get a laugh out of Larry. Nobody get's a smile out of Larry nevermind a laugh. ;)
The way Larry keep finding guns from under the table is so funny, looks kinda like boys finding his toys under his bed.
Ooh that Dark Knight shotgun 4:43, pretty sure the Joker steals that shotgun from the bank robbery scene at the beginning and you see him with it later when they crash the fancy fundraiser thing.
Dude thought the Tex prop was gonna kill it with Larry, then backed off as soon as he realized nobody thought it was cool. lol
Towards the end is where it gets real entertaining
28:26 one of the most iconic guns in movie history
Love this series but y’all have got to get mics 😂😂
Damn to see two legends together... awesome!
Also Larry, glad crossfit is working well for you. looking great keep it up.
super complicated guns: He sleep
A rubber club: "W O W"
Probably referring to Michael Mann’s “Hue ‘68” project around 3:40
They're making Hue 1968? Is it an adaptation of the Mark Bowden book? Not sure that it'll come out well, but I loved the book and Bowden deserves the money.
Great vid and AWESOME DETAIL.... about the loads for the different guns.
Also again Mr Vickers and Mr Hacherthron paying TOTAL ATTENTION as the gentleman answering thier questions.... outstanding LOVE THESE VIDS
5:56 the way Larry just spots the spas 12 and then pulls it out from under the table past a sign that says “do not handle firearms” is hilarious to me
Camera guy was day drinkin for the last 10 minutes lol.
Thanks for making these! Love movie guns.
Lmao, the part at the end where the guy is like teddy bears make you laugh right? Larry just stares at the teddy bear and doesn't laugh.
Can we get a slomo of Larry giving Ted a hug
i knew right off the bat that the kar98k that it was the one ed harris used in enemy at the gates just a feeling i got.
Same. Right when I saw it.
*_2:00_**_ Gotta say, i love the "Holy shotgun" concept_*
Need to see more of those weapons on the wall! Found out how they use rpgs an such
These are always great!
Dang that AK looks good.
The bolt gun was also used in The Watchmen.....it was in the Comedian's closet when Rorshack found his hidden arms room in the closet.

@Michael Srite yeah the new HBO show sucks, I hate seeing things that are already made get revamped just to make a political statement
Dude: If you've seen the movie it makes you laugh
Larry: ...cool
Sweet learning about the blanks
😂😂 larrys face when ted came out!!!
I could spend weeks just checking guns out in there.
Larry lookin good with the weight loss, ive been away for a long time, wish you health and good fortune!
He pretty much just told us there will be a band of brothers Vietnam

Awesome movie guns !!!!!!!!!!!!
Larry Vickers wearing a Porsche shirt.
YES
What movie or show are the FBI clone rifle with the Geissele MK4 Federal OD Green rail featured in?
Asking for a friend.
Why is this so damn entertaining?
Fantastic. They are really inovative.
Noob question.. which WWII movie was Ed Harris in?
constanta262 ah yeah shit I forgot he was in that, cheers
So curious for the Constantine gun.
Love these videos! 👍👍🤩
I wonder how these three guys ended up together like this. Vickers and Hack consulting on a movie?
10:19 I remember that white F2000 one from the movie, Peacekeepers use it.
Karl worries about prop guns being loaded with the wrong blank rounds....
Larry: "Let alone live ammo."
Karl: "That should be nowhere near the set"
Alec Baldwin must have missed that memo...
Thanks for going into detail about the blanks! Very interesting. So older movies like aliens, die hard and the Terminator used full power blanks? Or did they also use CGI for muzzle flash?
Full power judging from how Linda Hamilton got some permanent hearing damage in T2 in the elevator scene.
@@thermobaric really?? Wow! That was a bone chilling scene though 😎
Yeah. Apparently she forgot to put her ear plugs back in before a take.
@@thermobaric yep that'll do it lol
thermobaric Same thing happened to Bruce Willis in Die Hard. The scene where he shoots the guy from under the table gave him hearing damage.
This video guns series is quickly becoming a favorite for sure!
Hi mr Larry can u do a video on howa type 64 and 89
Is Ted going to be the new assistant instructor in future upcoming LAV firearms training?
28:00 a rubber shotgun? Isn't it just a tokyo marui m870 breacher?
Where’s Dredd’s Law Giver?!
I’m in the gun community and Ted is hilarious. With all the humor in this community Larry should have had one quote from the movie
Great vid!
Loved the red F2000
👍🏻🇺🇸 Rolex very classy.
Really enjoying these vids!
This is why parts kits are hard to find for people that will build real guns and the MK4 rail.
Love these vids.

I would love that ted.
Just built up a mid length 14.5 dd barrel and receiver Geisel mk 8 rail
That would present an interesting issue
With heavy counterweight blowback designs
And the necessary pressure to make them operate
The blank load would have to compensate for this
Unless you went through the hassle of changing spring tension , but action response would be affected.
Interesting stuff
I’m guessing that 9 part Vietnam series never got made did it?
Where can I get some of those SOA grips
Me personally, I would prefer a series on weapons/optics of the Unit
That Colt 933 with the Yankee Hill rail from “Triple Frontier” (in Part 2 of this series) was used in “The Unit.” More than likely, some of the other guns in this series were in “The Unit” episodes, too.
Thanks for this great video about this super rifle
Surely I'm not the only one checking out Larry's Rolex.
Band of Brothers vietnam boys, its coming
Love those visits ❤
What a job, I would love to be the research guy ego keeps them current, both on the military and what's hot in civilian world.

I really want to know what pump forend that is on that last rubber shotgun with the light on top of it.
You get them on the Remington 870 Breachers. I just call it a breacher grip
www.remingtondefense.com/shotguns/870-breacher/
I see you've upgraded from a submariner to a deepsea James Cameron! Rolex is classic.
Wonder if it’s true that actors with felony convictions per ATF can’t handle these real blank modified props?
Correct
13:00 if the barrels are plugged then you wont get a muzzle flash. What am i missing here?
Yeah, there is no flash. Guns with plugged barrels are typically only used in specific scenes. The rest of the time regular weapons that give off a real flash are used. Although depending on the film, sometimes fake flashes are added to barrel plugged guns in post. John Wick does this a lot, as they have to used barrel plugged weapons due to the close quarter fight scenes.
Of all the wacky stuff it seems that Larry is most enthusiastic about the vanilla looking, milled AK. Can't blame the man though, function > beauty.
I actually love to shoot my BFR 45-70 and I also like my American derringer M-4 in 45-70.
I would like to see Hanka's pistol from Ghost in the Shell 2017 movie.
Is the shooter gun for sale?
I want everything on that cart
It may be a good vid but don't know cant hear anything
What is the Bob Lee Swagger gun? Chambered in?
In the show it's a .338 Lapua Magnum but in real life it comes in a few calibers; .308 Winchester, .300 Win Mag, .300 Ultra Mag, .300 WSM.
What's this vietnam movie I wannasee it
Hey guys what about the predator guns
Those weren’t provided by ISS; they were provided by Stembridge, back when that company still existed. Stembridge went under and liquidated its assets in 1999, so I’m pretty sure that the Predator guns have since been sold off (other than the Minigun, which I believe was sold to Cinema Weaponry).
Vickers looking slim!
Larry hold Ted😆
Do you guys know Dave Lauck? 😊
Its a great business
If the barrel is plugged how does the flash exit the barrel?
popojoeexplode it doesn’t
Plugged barrels don’t have a muzzle flash.
Post production video editing.
Depends on what you’re talking about. If you’re referring to the “solid plug” blank adapter, then there is no muzzle flash at all (it gets added in post). I loved Ted. Hahaha
How could you tell the AK was polish?
Larry I have a great rifle build for you that was shown to me by a Vietnam Vet. He built an M16A1 style rifle with a heavy stainless barrel and a 1/8 twist. Light rifle for carry but capable barrel and accurate. Looks amazing as well.
Vicker and tedd?
I can finally rest in peace.
What rifle is that at 23:55 ?
M110
I came here for Joker's Remington
Hey brother you looking slimmer good on you
Love ya man- but can’t watch this with the terrible sound brother.
Love the vids buuuut audio could be better.
The camera work at the end was terrible. But love the videos.
MORE TED

Off camera audio, please!
Larry-maybe you have already and I missed it, but would you be willing to do a video about all the support folks that make it possible for shooters? I was a shooter, but I’ve always felt the support folks haven’t gotten the credit they deserve... just an idea brother.
