I found five of the fans in the dumpster. Two one day and three another day. Same dumpster. My son was a happy camper since he thinks he has to have a fan to sleep lol.
I watch EVERY penny video and some of these are new to me so i couldve missed them penny shopping too! My stores are not as stocked as yours appear to be. I have one that has several almost completely bare shelves!

Hi, I went Penny shopping all week today is Saturday, 30 November and I stopped at a dollar general here in Texas. I was in Brazoria, Texas and I was getting stuff from the top shelf and when I went to the counter to go pay, the girl was kind of rude to me so she began to tell me oh so you found some pennies and I said yes ma’am and then she said, did you get these from the top shelf and I said yes ma’am and then I told her I didn’t get all of this from the top. It was 10 items. I said I didn’t get all of this from the top shelf OK so she said OK so now you’re lying to me she said if I catch you doing this again in my store I will get you out of my store. I will make you leave and I said well due to your policy. It says that we can get stuff from the top shelf as long as it’s outside on the floor and then she goes it wasn’t on the floor. It was on the top shelf And then she stopped and then she said I don’t have to sell you these and I said if you look at the policy, I told her I did nothing wrong. She said well you did because it was like you went to the back of my store and took all that stuff out from the back And I said excuse me I said you probably saw me getting up from the top shelf that’s why you’re saying that and that’s fine but I think I didn’t do nothing wrong so she said I’ll let you have them this time but next time don’t lie to me and if I catch you doing it again, I will get you out of my store. So did I do something wrong or was she wrong like I didn’t argue with her and I wasn’t rude to her. I got my stuff $.10 that I spent and left. Please let me know. Thank you. Oh dear, one of those employees. 🙄 So, was there a shelf strip (black & yellow) on that top shelf that said to ask for assistance? If that wasn't there then no, you did nothing wrong. Now you know though, I wouldn't attempt the top shelves in that store. Some are totally cool with it & others flip out. Sorry you had one of those. 😕
Thanks for answering me back. No I don’t recall seeing a strip that said if you need assistance. And I carry a grabber to get stuff from the top. But I didn’t think I had done something wrong. She wasn’t having a good day she said, cause I overheard her say that to someone. She said that her employees she can’t keep them they don’t come to work and most of the time she has to do a double shift because she has no employees. So thanks again. Have a wonderful evening.
@@ireneculver9066 TFS because I wasn’t aware it could be an issue or about the signs meaning don’t get stuff down. I usually try to get stuff down when no employees or other people are around. Taking a grabber is a great idea!
I had a lady be SO RUDE to me once about top shelf (a box of cereal). I am over 6 feet tall in heels, and I am perfectly capable! I had a full grab on the box, too, not just fingertips!😂
How do you remember everything to look for it's so much and screen shots are helpful along with notes but dang I don't think my brain can hold that much your amazing
@@ToozdayExpress it's basically years of paying close attention, and thoroughly getting to know DG's inventory. It is quite a lot to remember, but items become more familiar, and easier to find once you've bought something. I've been doing this 6 years now, and I still miss some things. Sometimes there's so much it's impossible to remember them all. Even with screenshots. Taking time to get to know the details for those items you'd like to find the most - like it's size (ounces, etc), original price, and most importantly it's UPC, helps to make one more confident in their search., I also like to make collages of similar penny items. This lets me study the pics a little longer, and allows me to pull up fewer visuals of more merchandise.
Have you entered the UPCs I have given? I have people all across the country entering the UPCs before I ever put out the visuals, in the beginning. You are probably funding the same/similar items, but they are a new or different version & different UPC.

Yes, the store that is 10 minutes from my house is different from the store that is 3 minutes from my house. One Penny's and the other one is full price.

How long have you been penny shopping? It takes time, for sure. It has taken me years to figure out which stores to hit, which ones to avoid & which ones are better for surprise pennies vs "list" pennies. You'll get there!
