great vids man. I'm your 300th sub :D. keep them rolling. The vid about Switzerland introduced me to your channel. When I have the means I'm definitely thinking of going there for a couple of months (the 90 days allowed as an EU member) and see how I feel living there, as an introverted person who loves mountains I think it might be a place I will appreciate a lot. Do you think only knowing English would be a problem while staying in Switzerland?
P.S. I think you channel can grow much much more, just keep going, bro!

thank you very much for your support and encouragement. I really appreciate it.
English, at least in the urban parts and/or the German-speaking parts, is widely understood and decently well spoken. I know plenty of people who get by with English only or with limited German. Lucerne, for example, is very used to tourists (= good English-fluency) and fairly close to the mountains. Maybe that would be something for you.
All the best to you, my fellow introvert. Hope you get to experience Switzerland soon.
      Cheers, Mike

Damn, awesome vid I'm surprised you don't have more subs.
Would you have insights on the employment of expats over there? i know they have a huge problem with too many people having degrees, and not enough roles to fill but maybe you have another perspective?

thank you for your kind comment and for watching.
most expats in Taiwan that I know are either English teachers, remote workers, or work in tech.
many locals have university degrees, because this is the standard path for the school system.
but as far as I know, Taiwan wants expats to come and work here. Because Taiwan, just like many other nations in East Asia, have low birthrates. And Taiwan recently even launched a digital visa.
The biggest thing, in my opinion, that stops many foreigners from coming here is the low pay, compared to places like California, Singapore, or Dubai. Taiwanese salaries just cannot compete. But I also know expats that scored a local contract that is way above the local salary range.

Id be more worried about earthquake and typhoons than geopolitics in Taiwan

Typhoons are not too bad. It is only a month or two per year. Most typhoons hit the east coast of Taiwan. The densely populated west coast is shielded from the direct impact by a mountain range. Surprisingly, I have gotten used to earthquakes quite quickly. But when choosing where to live, I would definitively recommend newer buildings over older buildings, as earthquake resistant building techniques have improved over the years.
      thank you for watching.
