I did it without Onix and now I am off to concede as many matches as I can (even though nobody conceded for me 🥲). First few conceding matches I will troll with 2 Chanseys and one of each fossil. 😋
Finaly someone Shows love to one of my fav Decks 😢😢😢 Everyone laughs at me when i say in beat Mewtu, Pikachu, Articuno with my Onix/Golem Deck.. They didnt laugh about my cobining Onix with Golem.. They laughs about my Golem.. He has a nice card that can kill a lot of things!!! 😢😢😢 Thanks for giving Golem a Show ❤❤🎉
5 wins in a row using 'any' deck, meta or otherwise, is very challenging and frustrating given how the game mechanics are so rooted in chance over skill. Sometimes the game feels like 'Coin Flip Simulator' and it really detracts from the fun of the game where your skill means less than your luck and praying to RNG. The flips are so impactful too, especially when forced to go first, puts you at a major disadvantage when the skill based component revolves entirely around managing and maintaining momentum. I got my emblem but, it didn't feel that good, it felt more like i won it by lottery than actually earned it with player skill. I was lucky to get enough going second starts in my run, one of my opponent's quit instantly (probably because they were going first, don't blame them at all) and my opponent's got awful coin flips on their cards (moltress and misty) and couldn't get their energy/momentum going. It was luck. It felt like it had barely anything to do with my strategy at all. This is a major issue with the game right now i think, i hope it's something they address eventually, though i'm doubtful.
Golem/Dugtrio is GOATED for the win streak event. After trying with almost every meta deck (Mewtwo EX, Pika EX, Char EX, Arcazard, Starmie EX) I gave the Brock deck a try and got the emblem in my second attempt!
I noticed the very first week Pocket was live that people were playing SOOO MANY Lightning EX decks, so i started to experiment with my fighting decks and got the gold ribbon lol
Pretty amazing I also turned to fighting types when everything else went down The thing is i only have one copy of marowak ex, primeape , kangaskhan and Kabutops Primeape and Kabutops were the MvPs and the coinflips worked when needed
No kidding, i actually did my first 5 wins with this, the 150 dmg from golem is huge, i didn't expect to win 5 in a row adn i just wanted to try the deck out but i kept winning lol
I did it with the best deck in the game Arbok weezing🔥🔥And I got a free win from a guy who had the emblem!! He conceded at the start so I started doing the same hopefully I can get people they’re final win!! Good luck everyone!!
I played a total of five games and got all 5 wins in a row. I had available both Mew and Pikachu decks but I have really awesome full art cards for a Charazard and Bird deck so I got very lucky in my games. Cheers and good luck everyone :)
Grats on making this work for the winstreak. The Brock set just makes no sense to me in how they balanced it, from energy required, damage, and retreat costs. It's balanced off if you always have Brock on hand but only gets his mons to the level of any other strong card in the meta.

Tbh most players who spam those meta decks often times under-estimate other lesser deck builds thinking they can finish off you so fast. I'd seen this often when I'm using my Tentacruel + normal Starmie deck.

Im getting 4 wins then lose happened for the past 6hours, getting fed up of the a55hats who clearly have the new gold emblem queueing to ruin the streaks. Its rigged every 5th match i get a counter deck and an awful hand :/

I got it first try when I first woke up. I used arbok and Golbat to counter the sea of Mew2 😭😭 2 of them conceded so I got very lucky.

Hitmonlee made a mess of the opponents' backline.

Every time I win get to my final win, the opponent has the perfect opening and I get the shittiest one. It’s almost like it’s by design

Beat it with nidoking and wheezing deck then tried again with charizard only.
