Every day after work in the army I would get into my gaming room set to cold so I could rug up, have my chips ready on my side and some chocolate/strawberry milk to get real comfortable so I could immerse into this game... So many hours were poured into this amazing game.. Broke my heart when it died.
This game just...died, I think we guys are the only ones who still remember this game...this game brings back way to many memory's, I remember the day I left to go somewhere and when I got back...the game...died...good bye...Chrome Hounds... =,( you lived a wonderful life...
Halo 2's "hushed casket" was nothing compared to the death of Chromehounds. With Halo 2, it was like an elderly person who had been on life support; we all knew the end would come soon, and were prepared. The shutting down of Chromehounds' servers was like waking up, going to make breakfast, and then the phone rings. You answer it, and your friend tells you your best friend just committed suicide. Yeah, that was the death of Chromehounds. Well liked, fun to play with, got along with your friends, full of creativity, then instant death.
Considering how long its been the closest you'll get is a spiritual successor, and from what I've seen the closest would be M.A.V. . It honestly does blow my mind that From Software never made a squeal to this game because it looks fun as hell
Here from the future...! OooOoOooo... ...still no reboot T_T I'm sure some of us must've bumped into each other through the online wars, hope y'all are doing well!
One of the most underrated games of our
Time
Agreed!

The same happened to me, I tried to log on after getting back from vacation to no prevail. I remember staring at the tv in disbelief. :(
Durk47 every now and then, I boot up CH and click multiplayer, praying it will just suddenly start up. It never does, and I cry.
MrGamer176 I remember the game
it died because they killed the online servers wayyy too early

I must of put hundreds of hours into this game we need a remaster!
yes!! spread the word
@@STICKYArt there's somewhat of a spiritual successor being developed called M.A.V.. Its worth a check out if nothing else.
Agreed and bring it to PC
This game was a diamond in the rough. wish it could be remade.
such a great game. I would buy the rights and bring servers back up myself if I had the cash :|
I've been saying this since 2009..man. Sad stuff.
I just wish they would put in the multiplayer shop in singleplayer so I can still access the full game D:
:'( I MISS THIS GAME SOOO MUCH!!!! i remember this trailer when it first came out............ omg E3 2002 or something right?
Someone needs to make a PC version with fan supported servers. If Sega wants some easy money, all they'd have to do is give the go-ahead.

It was, unlike that POS called "Armored Core 4" that came out after Chromehounds.
this just the better walking war robots
Miss this game.
Miss this game so much
Hoping for a remaster or something similar to this !

Even in real life this game feels dead
It's that good
Robocraft had the potential to pick up where Chromehounds left off, but it's kinda going downhill.
This game is awesome I want multiplayer
Double doubles ftw

Fromsoft, please port this game over to PC. There is no need to remaster it.
