I've always wondered if the color of a jig head is really all that important since its the method of presentation, the smell and action of the minnow that incites a walleye.to strike. I also think matching the specific minnow to the color of the water is important too, ie, dark water, dark minnow, clear water, silver minnow.. Now, having said that I have to admit I always go to my hot pink or green chartreuse jigs first. I'm fishing N. Ontario waters.
Trolling thru here, and I gotta say I'll put two jigs up against any of your jigs and out fish you anywhere. Just kidding but you're missing out on Bait Rigs. Slo-poke, and the oddball jig. If you don't have any of these jigs you're missing out. Good luck.

I caught a walleye with the jigs
