I think it's fine to play with or without screen lock, the most important difference I would say, though, is that playing with screen lock makes the experience more of a "Where am I now? What's happening around me?" kind of mentality. And without screen lock, you're more an observer of the entire map "What's happening where? Where do I need to send my character?" It's a small but important shift in thinking, which will require more moving the camera around. Especially around your character, you'll want to keep your character on the opposite side of the screen from where important things are (like your lane opponent). So where with screen lock, your main camera position is [ - - - x - - o] (x: you | o: opponent) You'll have more view distance because you can already see your opponent from almost twice as far away [ x - - - - - o] This style of playing (in general) also makes for better situational awareness, since you're more actively focussing on what is happening around you (because YOU have to move the camera) making you more pro-active in looking at your surroundings. At least this is all IMHOpinion & Experience :P
Youre so right, couldnt agree more. That is why pro players will say to use a mixture of locked and unlocked or just unlocked only. Unlocked also makes it so much easier to avoid ganks or to see whats happening on objectives. Since making the switch i find that doing worst in fights because im not used to having to shift my screen around, however generally speaking i dont get ganked as much and even when i do get ganked im almost always in a better position to deal with it. Overall i would say that unlocked screen is better, just more challenging to do everything while moving your screen.
I like watching him play with screen lock. Most of the players I watch in YT is like Faker. They keep on looking different parts of the map. (Which is OKAY also) But this Naut top just doing his thing is Okay for me. Nothing to complain. Beating Darius again! Hahahaha makes me smile. That is true man I want also less things to do, I am lazy also that's why I don't play ADC. Hahaha. But playing as a Supp main needs a lot of things to do. Needs to move my screen around for potential roam, objs, etc, wardings and defending wards. But I'm used to it now. Time to time I play locked screen with key binding of Z.
Maybe it's because I play only with screen lock but what exactly does holding the space bar do? I'm glad you like the build so much, that's a huge boost for me. Rift Maker was always part of the build path but your games almost never go long enough to get it.
Screen jumps to your champ and stays locked on it untill you release space bar. Your champ will also be highlighted in some way so you dont get lost in team fights e.g.😊
Hitting the space bar centers the camera back on your character. If you're playing with a locked screen, then that's the default so you wouldn't need to do that. Another way of thinking about it is that playing with screen lock is the same as playing without screen lock, but the space bar is held automatically.

Thanks! I like both locked and unlocked screen so i guess i can play either way.

Thanks for that explanation you guys. I honestly didn't know but that makes a lot of sense
Yupp, they explained it perfectly lmao, nothing i can really add to it. Yupp majority of my games are so short.
@@vanniiplays that just makes the longer games when you are able to go full build better
