Turns out Lisa was really pregnant then. Instead of having her hide her pregnancy, the producers made Phoebe pregnant. Aha!!! When she was holding the three babies, you could see she, Lisa, was going to be a GREAT mom!!! @@djanasurkovic4099
Friends was ahead of it’s time back in the 90’s. It wasn’t afraid to touch on serious issues as well as doing a great job portraying certain people from different backgrounds. All in all, the moral of the story is it taught us what being a friend truly means because friends become family. ❤
I know that critics say Seinfeld is the best show of the 90s, and while I love Seinfeld, I find that I need to be in a specific mood for it. Friends I can watch literally any time. It's just so comforting and timeless.
friends does such a good job of sprinkling in meaningful moments- not very episode has a sappy ending, but they come in just enough to add a powerful element to the show.
almost all of Ross and Rachel's romantic moments could've been on this list :) but one that always stood out to me was when Ross missed his chance to be on TV in order to take Rachel to the hospital to get her bruised ribs examined. and they weren't even dating at that time.

The one thing I'll never forgive the writers for friends is for not letting Monica be pregnant. It's heartbreaking that the one character who wanted to get pregnant and be a mom so bad never got to experience it. I did love the whole adoption part but it just always made me feel so bad that a character who wanted to experience something so bad, never gets to.
The writers didn't get Monica pregnant because Courtney Cox couldn't get pregnant in real life. In fact, when she did get pregnant while filming season 10 they chose to hide her bump instead of writing her pregnancy into the show as that wouldn't make sense anymore.
Here are my honorable mentions that shouldn't be forgotten any time soon. Phoebe Has the Triplets - The One Hundredth (Phoebe goes through a lot of pain and makes our hearts swell) Mondler's Wedding - The One With Monica and Chandler's Wedding (Just when Chandler is about to back out, he realizes how much he really loves Monica) Rachel Gets Off the Plane - The Last One Part 2 (Just when we thought the whole series would end on a cliffhanger, Ross and Rachel are reunited forever) Joey's Speech to Chandler about Monica - The One With The Truth About London (Joey convinces Chandler that Monica is better off with him rather than Joey)
Mine happens rather late in the series (Season 10) and involved Rachel and Ross. It is the moment she walked in and tells him "I didn't get on the plane". Left me with a teaser for a spin-off but instead we just got one lame season of "Joey. Oh well that's NBC for ya
Why did they have to make Phoebe's relationship/marriage such bullcrap? There is no way any man would forgive his fiancee for making out with her ex and especially lying about it immediately after.
